Which do you think is the best? Simpsons or Family Guy?

Some people is saying that Simpson is'nt good now as it used to be. And that Family Guy is the funniest cartoon nowadays.
For me, Family Guy is ok. But I prefer simpson's style, even if it doesn't make you laugh with every speak line(or action). And family guy kinda annoy me the way they try to explain every movie/tv refference.
What do you think? Isn't simpsons in his golden age anymore?
Is Peter Griffin better than Homer now?
Is it a case of "make me laugh every time" vs "make me laugh the right times"?

Family Guy is funny and I love both The Simpsons and Family Guy, however if I had to choose one I would choose the Simpsons. I like that it is family friendly, for one thing, and also that it's a timeless show that never gets old for me. Sure I don't laugh out loud at every episode, but I still enjoy them all. Family Guy can be realllly funny sometimes but stupid the next.

I think Simpsons are better I watched Family guy to see how funny it is and I watched that movie with space and i didn't like it a lot. But i also think Simpsons were better in the beginning. Or I just got bored because I watch so many parts. Hate it when that happens.

The Simpsons. Anytime. Homer Simpson happens to be one the funniest cartoon character ever. Though I'd agree that the Simpsons isn't as funny as it used to be, Family Guy is definitely nowhere close to The Simpsons. The only cartoon I find funnier than the Simpsons is South Park. But still, Simpsons remains my favorite.

I think the best is The Simpson . They are more funny then Family guy . I prefer to watch the simpson . Many people around the world prefer to watch the simpson . I think the simpson is most watching animation , who is created for now . I am watched some episodes of family guy , but not like me , and I watch simpson . That is my response for this discusion . Thank you for reading my commentar.

i don't think Family guy can hold a candle to the simpsons. They were never close to being as funny as the simpsons. i haven't been able to watch the simpsons much lately, they do seem to not be as funny as they used to be. but even on their worst day I think they are a better quality show than family guy. sometimes family guy is funny but sometimes it is just stupid when it's trying to be funny.

The Simpsons wins hands down in this one because The Simpsons is really the pioneer in this genre of cartoons. Homer makes me laugh more than Peter Griffin because his naivete is definitely more funny but I have to admit Peter Griffin pushes the envelope more often now than Homer. I guess The Simpsons, given their pioneer status is not pushing the envelope too much because their audience is much broader.
