Going in the tournament the ranking favorite is Russia #1, Canada #2, and I think US #3. Then this happens which probably made a lot of sports gambler poor. US beats Canada, Canada then beats Russia, I bet you Russia will beat US if they played against each other. The best reason I can think of is, Canada brings out the best of US and Russia brings out the best of Canada. Consider this when you bet next time :)
