Snacks: Do you prefer fruits or junk food?

Personally when I'm in need of a snack I grab an apple or a banana. We don't really have junk food like chips in our house, and although I like them from time to time sometimes I would really just prefer a sour juicy apple to salty chips or sweet milk chocolate.
What about you?

mmm...du like silk soy milk? idk, I'm not vegan or vegetarian or anything but i LIKE drinking the chocolate one. haha. it has tons of protein tho so it would work for ya.
but yea...i know lots of ppl think tat vegan/vegitarian means healthy. i saw this guy on tv tat he was vegitarian but he was like 400 pounds. It's becuz he ate stuff like pasta with tomato sauce everyday, pizza, etc. well, try to fit more fruits in, it'll help u feel a lot btr too. like i said its just a habit n then when u get used to it u love it actually. n if u dont like eating junk food the simplest way ive figured out to avoid it is just to not keep it in ur house. then even if u want some, u can't eat any, the urge will pass, and you'll feel healthier.

wow.. im like the complete opposite of you.. i eat so much junkfood im suffering from hypertension.. although im cutting back on the junkfood its so hard becasue at the same time im a very picky eater

well, that's okay, you can always change your habits. It's just getting used to the change. What I've noticed is that if it's in your house, you'll eat it. Like if we have chips out I'll eat it. But if you don't have it available, sometimes you want to have some, but if you don't have any in your house, you can't eat it. And I realize how good that is afterwards cuz it makes you healthier n u don't feel guilty afterwards for eating unhealthy. I used to not eat that many fruits before either but then we always had fruit and I actually love eating apples n stuff now.

I love fruit as snacks but they seem to be more expensive than the things like chips and things today. I would prefer fruit any day and when I can afforrd the fruits I will pick those as my choice over chips.

i prefer yoghurts when i need a snack,they're not too filling and i love them,but if we haven't got any then i'll snack on a cold chocolate bar from the fridge

I tend to like junk food a little more then I should. I know I'm gulity of that. I will eat fruit from time to time, but still, I'm almost re learning how to eat ever since I realized I'm hypoglycemic. I can still eat just about anything, but I have to know when to, and not to eat certin foods. And, I've gottnen better about it. I try to stick to the fruits for that very reason.
But, junk food comes in handy too.

Thats very good indeed. Fruits like apple or banana are good for health, while junkfood is not good for health. I also prefer fruits to junk food.Mostly we take home made snacks items.
