My daughter is married and has her own home. We communicate by a diary and I tell her I love her every week in writing and when we call each other on the phone which is not often. She is a busy woman.
I also tell her I love her when I replied to her emails which is infrequent.
I also tell my son I love him about once a week.
My children know they are much love by me. They tell me they love me, too.
You are one of the best mothers in the world, Gabs.:)

I probably say I love you a thousand times a day to my friends and family I want to make sure that if it is the last thing I get to say to them they know I love them by words and actions.I am afraid that if I miss saying it and something happens I feel bad but thats just me.

As often I remind myself where I would be without them. So, I guess that's pretty most of the time!:P Kidding. When I was younger, I used to tell my mother "I love you" very often. No, I don't do it that much....although she complains in a meaningful way, that she regrets, not to have told her mother "I love you" as often, as she deserved, while she was alive.

I didn#t used to but I do now . as I said before hubby has just had a rtiple heart bypass and my parents( both still at home ) both have Alzheimers and I realise how lucky I am to have them . I now say it when I see them ( most days) and when I phone It felt strange at first because we all said we didn't have to say it because we all knew it , but I really think it is important. I tell my Grandchildren too xx

I agree with you. One never knows when our last day is up. So, I like to live each day as if it were my last, and say the things that I feel. I tell my hubby and cats everyday how much I love them, and mean it.

It's so easy to take such things for granted. I was one till recently...now I tell my parents and my husband as often as possible. Atleast my hubby is with me so I can tell him more often, but am away from my parents so whenever I get a chance to talk to them I make it a point I say it. It's true that these 3 words "I Love You" are the hardest to say!

I couldn't count the number of times my other half tells me how much he loves me each day!
Bless him, he always gives me a kiss and tells me when he leaves each morning and that's at 5.30am! Then he always rings me at lunch time and again when he leaves work to drive home just to tell me as well.
If he gets stuck in traffic i will have another phone call!
Then during the evening I just couldn't count! no kidding he's just OTT which is all very nice but i really do have to tell him so slow down at times.
yes, I think it is important to say it as well as show it but you can have too much of a very good thing!

I always grab opportunities to tell my love ones how much i love them. And everytime i got a chance to, i really express it and tell it to them for i don't know if i still have another chance to say it to them again in my life...

I tell my wife I love her at least seven times a day. I'm brainwashing her! I want her to know she is safe with me and I'm always on her side .. sometimes I just hate myself when I pick on her! ;)

I try to tell them daily, but some days I just don't think about until after they are asleep. I always tell my son when I talk to him on the phone about twice a month. I think it is very important to tell them as often as possible. Everyone feels so much better when they are reassured of you rLove. We should all try to do it often.

When I was young my family did not say they loved each other very often. But then when I got engaged my fiance's family was very loving and always told each other so I got my family doing it as well. I think it is very important because you never know what could happen and you may not have gotten to tell them.

I couldn't count the times I tell my other half how much I love him each day.. As he is the only one who has has stood by me as I went through a lot of obstacles over the past two - three years.. I don't talk to my parents all to often as they are only concentrated on my older sister's well-being. And only call to talk to her. So I feel honored to at least have someone who loves me, & supports me as much as my other half does.
But from the time I see my other half in the morning, until the time we go to bed.. I remind him of how much I love him on a regular basis each time we may see each other, or talk to each other on the phone..
I find it's very important to tell the person you love them on a regular basis.. Because sometimes you never know it may be your last time you are able to tell them you love them.. Life is so short & you cannot take people for granted.. It's sad for some people they have to lose someone that they may be close with, or that they love.. Before they can realize that they didn't say it enough.
I think it is very important to let people know that they are loved.. Especially since it sometimes makes all the difference in there lives by telling them this. So I know I do it quite often just so they know how I truly do feel..
