I would be cautious. It doesn't sound like you are going to spend a lot of money, so you won't have a lot to lose if your phone breaks. I bought a mobile from EBay and it broke within a month and had no warranty. Ebay can be great for a lot of things. I do sell stuff on their regularly, but there is always a risk in the purchasing.

Yes ebay is fully legit, you have nothing to worry about. But you always have to know who your dealing with when you buy something. So I suggest you read everything is writen about the item and always check that users reviews, and feedback. Good luck hope you find what your looking for

From a vendor who made enough to pay for the Christmas holidays - - yes, its legit. A tough environemnt where there are often more sellers than buyers, but it is very legit. Enjoy!

Ebay is the marketplace for the sellers to market their items, so it's the sellers that you need to keep an eye from. You should check the feedbacks for the seller and ask around other ebay members before getting anything from the seller. Remember to post some questions to the seller too if you need further clarification on the product or item. Usually good sellers will provide very good customer service. However, this does not mean that they are 100% legit.
Cheers.

Ebay as far as i know is one of the most trusted marketing sites, in fact i know only ebay and amazon. But as they say its not the market owner who sell it, but the shopkeeper at the market who sell it. So its depend on whether you trust that shopkeeper or not.

actually ebay is not the seller itself but only serves as the market place. so better check the seller if the seller is from india too or from other country. if its from other country, check the seller status nor comments if the seller have positive feedback from previous buyers or if the seller already have a lot of buyers. dont just buy from someone with zero feedback as they might just going to scam you. make a lot of research for that seller if the seller is legit or can be trusted. try to send message to their previous buyer and ask question to them. if you already have enough knowledge about the seller then go ahead and buy. also ask about the delivery like how many days to expect your item and how much is the shipping cost coz if to be added with the total amount of the item is already equivalent of like buying a new unit there then better buy it there than take the risk.

As the other posters have noted, Ebay is a marketplace. You'll be dealing with the sellers who use this marketplace. I've bought items and sold items on eBay and haven't had any horrible dealings, but you do have to watch the seller's shipping costs. Sometimes the shipping costs are so high, you'd be better off buying the item at a store near you. Good luck with your mobile.

eBay is a venue rather like an auction house, you need to check out your seller by looking at their feedback before making any decision on buying a phone. If you want a brand new phone then maybe you should check out your mobile stores before buying from eBay, as most of the phones on auction are used.

e-bay is a legit marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. It has its own security features so you need not to worry. Still, just like in a real marketplace you need to be very cautious and smart.

Ebay is legit, you don't have to worry about it but about the buyers you choose!
Read well the whole page description about the product you want to buy, see the evaluation about the buyer, if it's under 90%, don't buy from them!
If you have doubts and questions, ask them to buyer and you will see how serious he is, if he answer quickly, ect...

hi,
I am an ebay shopper so far my experience has been good with the sellers in my country and they have delivered the items I purchased on time. When you do online shopping there are risks. Check the seller's info like how many positive feedbacks does he have? Go with sellers who have 90 plus stars or positive feedbacks.
