since i am 5'4, have a small frame, and is 24 years old, i can fight either in the bantamweight (119 lbs) or featherweight (125 lbs). i just hope i wont have trouble fighting against taller fighters..

If you can make the weight in bantam, fight at that weight class. If you can make weight and still eat healty go for it. At featherweight you are at the lower end of the height range (most featherweights range between 5'4"-5'8"), you would be at a reach disadvantage. Good Luck, Wish you the best!

thanks for the added info dude. right now im weighing at around 130 lbs. if i get proper workout or training, im sure i'll make it to bantam weight. but do you think dropping 11 lbs would be my natural weight? im not fat or anything, its just that i have a flabby belly (due to drinking from long ago which i stopped by the way).

if you can drop the 11 lbs and be able to keep it off while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and workout regiment, you could consider that a healthy weight. you should be able to do it. Good Luck!

I'm not familiar with weight division in boxing. You are in boxing, it is very hard profession any accident can happened. Boxing here is very popular because of Manny Pacquiao many wants to be like him. I think height is not a problem because when Manny fights the Dela Hoya which is bigger and taller to him he won against Dela Hoya.

i agree but remember oscar was old and weight drained.. manny was comfy with his weight and was in his prime.. if two great fighters in their prime will square off, reach will definitely play a big part.
