How often do you rate people?

Hey sushie I was just thinking of posting this same question but thought of checking it out first. I really wish that people do rate as I usually rate all the people to comment on my discussions but see that not many rate when I give comments.

Hi sushie, I always give my rating in every discussion that I am involve. Most of it is a + rate. I rarely ( less then 5 times) I give a - rate to someone post. I gave it only when it come to a racism or spam posts. For others cases, if I do not like the response and/or comment, I still give it a + rate since that is their view on that matter. The worst is I just do not rate it at all. Giving a - rate to others would also effected our rating. And thats mean effecting our earnings here. And It is also shown that we are not matured enough to accept others view on that particular topics or issues.

I rate discussions and posts if I find them really good or really bad. I have no objectives like "I must rate everyone who answers my questions". I just rate them when I feel I need to somehow reward the post or then again give it a little penalty if the comment or discussion is really bad.

Hi sushie, First of all I would like to say, that the picture you were using earlier was far prettier than this one. I kinda liked it a lot. I was not familiar with this rating system until now. I've recently read about it but still in a confusion. Is it really necessary to rate something negative or positive? What actually happens when you rate someone positive? All the discussions I've started here only got positive and very coherent responses. I've never actually thought about giving someone a negative rating. That means, I've not rated anyone since I've joined myLot... LOL Hope you are doing fine. God bless you

hello i rate somebody`s writings but not all of them ,just these i liked and prefer to no rate with- these what i don`t like.

i rate people that i like how they answer to others and it is + ,but i don`t rate with - ,i don`t want to answer to those of them , who ask and write same discussions

Mylot requests that we rate discussions so I try to remember to rate all of the ones I participate in. I rarely negative rate anyone, even if I don't agree with what they've posted...as long as they don't go out of their way to be ugly.
