God created Time, Therefore God is infinite like the universe

A lot of people bring up the question if God created us, then who created God? but what if he was always there? 1 Corinthians 2:7 states " No, we speak of God's secret, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory BEFORE TIME BEGAN".
We view the existence of God with the mind of creation and life as we know it. Share your thoughts.

1 Corinthians 2:7 demonstrates that it's author had no concept of what time is or how it works -- suggesting a less than Divine origin. There is no such thing as "before time began," for the same reason that there is no such thing as "north of the North Pole."

Depends on which way you are facing when you at the north pole, because then the south will become north to your perception- Besides aren't the poles ment to flip soon lol. Seriously though what I am trying to say is time is an earthly thing, and if God created time and everything we know to be real, then how can we look at him through earthly understanding? To understand God, we will have to think like God.
Thank you for your perspective, I respect everyones opinion. I like to sponge up everything that is said, whether it stands with what I believe or not. It helps to create clarity for me.

Incorrect -- when at the North Pole, no matter which way you face you are facing south. The occasional reversing of the Earth's polarity doesn't change this -- there's no such thing as south of the South Pole, either.
Your point only makes sense if Divinity is something outside the universe. If The Lord and Lady are imminent, directly manifested in and through the universe, then earthly understanding is the only way we can understand Them. One might say that the reason the Mother of Time gave birth to time is so that we might understand Her by understanding time.

Wow...
Sorry for my ignorance of the poles. That was very well said and i respect what you are saying BUT I do believe that God is something outside the universe as crazy as that sounds. He created the universe as far as i'm concerned. I am just approaching my mid twenties and i have lots to learn, i'm not an expert on anything really, but spritually i feel as though i've always been here and maybe i get from the connection my soul has with God.

Hi renaissance, Time only exists here in the physical world and was created by man. Time means nothing to God and nothing to us after we leave this world. I know that the Genesis story talks of God making the day and night, but only a few people accept that today and fewer still will believe it in a generation or two. Blessings.

my thoughts are yes God is and always was and will be infinite. we do not know why or how but he is and was and always will be. we are
his children,WE just know what we know in our hearts and that should
be enough.

Quantum physics shows us that there are other universes and dimensions. We base everything we know on the physical laws of this universe. Can we ever understand God based solely on the physical laws of this universe??? We will need a much wider view if we are ever hoping to understand!!
