Often it is because the person they 'love' has become an object or just something to be desired - - then thrown away when a shinier model comes along.
It has been this way since the begining of time and through most cultures, but usually the reasons down deep are the same.

If a person is unreliable in the small things, they are probably unreliable in the larger ones as well.

Cheating in love is just one aspect. People cheat in exams, they might cheat someone for money. Some even cheat themselves. The person who cheats also has to be a incorrigible liar. It means if a person is a liar he would invariably cheat. Do you agree?

When something is there on a platter for which one does not have to struggle people go for it. Cheating is nothing but a ready made solution. An easy way to garner whatever there is to garner. Should there be any other reason?

Students cheat in the exams because to pass it they do not want to struggle. In cheating, they see an easy way out. Men or women cheat their spouses for altogether different reasons. They might be looking for a greater thrill; they could be unsatisfied; and most important reason, "stolen fruits are sweeter". Once they have experienced they look for greener pastures. I think these are the valid reasons for cheating.

To get what you want from your spouse one needs to work for it but not so when you look for that pleasure elsewhere. In a way also you do not have to struggle to get that pleasure as you get it without struggle as the other one is there to work it for you! Just a thought.

for me NO valid reason at all.... its simple as like this, if you want to cheat let that person loves you much and never cheated on you be happy, let him/her go... and if that person stays to you even she/he knows that your a cheater well its not your fault anymore! its always two way in such relationship.
am sorry,but i hate cheater!

Yes, I agree cheating is the most despicable thing one can do to other. Continue to cheat after being caught is still worse.

i think they cheat because they are not contented with their current relationship. on the first place, you will not look for someone else if you are completely happy with your partner. but this is not a valid reason for cheating as there are also guys that naturally seek for another one even if they have lots of partners around. i think it all depends on one's nature and faithfulness.

I think they cheat because they don't know what they want. They might be confuse and not content with what they already have. Maybe they got bored with the current one they already have so they cheat. Most cases, they want to have the pie and eat it too.

However, in some cases they know what they want. They want excitement more and more of it. They draw a sort of a thrill out of cheating. Some even gloat over it. They take pleasure in other person's misery. They might even promise that they won't do it again, yet they go back on their promise and continue to cheat. They would even tell any amount of lies just to cheat.

i disapprove cheating in relationships. However there are cases of cheating, for varied reasons, which sounds unreasonable.

I guess people cheat for a lot of reasons... to reinforce their self-esteem and feel desirable, for revenge against someone who has cheated on them, simple lack of maturity or willpower, for the thrill of the chase... they'd probably give you a whole list, if you asked. Do I think there is a valid reason for cheating? Absolutely not. You don't fix a broken relationship by looking for a new one. Either tackle your problems together and try to make the relationship better/stronger or end the relationship completely if it's not working... BEFORE you bring another person or persons (and their feelings) into it.

Yes, people do cheat just to take revenge. They think they have settled a score. By counter cheating they think they have got even with the person. However, by do so they become answerable to their own conscience.

People cheat for many reasons, it could a love lost, not contented with the relationship, he finds someone better, his love is not enough to keep him faithful, or they do not know how to value their wedding vows. But I guess, to avoid cheating, if you feel any of the above reasons, talk it over first to the one concerned. If you think that your relationship won't go any further, better call it off and look for someone who can make you happy and your contented with. It is more hurtful to find out that your partner is cheating on you.
