I have been on Celexa for years... 40 mg per day right now Since I am low income I've been getting my prescriptions from a doctor at the local mental health clinic. Anyway I ran out of refills and so I called my pharmacy and they said they'd contact my doctor to request a renewal. They've been trying to get ahold of him for several weeks and he doesn't respond to their messages. Meanwhile, I have been completely out of meds for two weeks and the mental health center says they can't help me. I'm having pretty vicious withdawal symptoms... Diziness and vertigo, headaches, blurred vision, confusion, nauseau, crying spells and mood swings, and even nightmares.
Assuming I cannot get my meds any time soon (definitely not for the weekend) does anyone know of a way to EASE withdrawal symptoms? For some reason Sudafed has been helping a tiny bit with the dizziness, and so does caffienated soda, but not much! I need to at least get through the weekend, and then I might be able to find my stupid doctor! Please help!
