Where are all the old tv shows like Kojak, Magnum PI

I tried to find some of the older tv shows on cable, but no such luck.
I loved detective shows such as Kojak, Magnum PI or my favorite Columbo.
What's your favorite old detective show?

Check with Netflix and see if they are out on DVD and you can rent them. There are tons of classic tv shows on DVD. I am not sure if you are from the United States. I have Direct TV and we have a channel called Sleuth I believe Magnum PI has been on there. I have seen Simon and Simon on there as well. As my favorite I would go with Simon and Simon. Can I also include Law & Order I know it is still on regular tv but they are going on what there 20 season I believe. So in a way I guess we can consider it old.

I didn't realize how old Law and Order was, yeah thats a good one. I use to get the sleuth channel but I canceled it, they didn't show the ones I use to like. And there's Barney Miller, Mannix and McCloud. I guess these shows are forgotten. Maybe I'll rent but there are so many of them.

I enjoy renting tv shows on dvds. Even current ones on tv now I find myself just waiting for the season to end and then renting. You have no commercials and everything is run in order. I am sure you can find those shows you mentioned and many more.
