Kaspersky or ESET antivirus: Memory usage

Hi friends.
I'm using ESET Nod32 smart security on my desktop since a long time ago. I believe that it is a top antivirus together with Kaspersky, Symantec, Avira,...
One of the most emphasized advantages of this product is the low memory usage. I have Kaspersky Internet Security on my laptop which I bought one year ago. When I compared their memory usage (task manager, processes for all users) I found that kaspersky is using normally less than 10Mb and when I'm busy with several softwares and internet, it reaches 30-40Mb. On the other hand ESET Smart Security is normally using 40-50 Mb. I have vista on my laptop and XP on my desktop. Of course, they have diferent CPU, RAM, ... and even programs installed. But in general I'm thinking if Kaspersky is better from the memory usage point of view.
What do you think about this special matter? If you are using another AV as your favorite, what is their usage? Note that you should check the processes from all the users. Note that some AVs have more than one process for the protection purposes, e.g. EKRN and EGUI for nod32 and two AVP for kaspersky.

I'll check out mine, then I'll come back here. I'm using Symantec Endpoint Protection. Anyway, thanks for the helpful info... I learned a lot! :)

Thank you magtibaygom! As I know Symantec Endpoint is the best AV of 2009! It would be great to know these details on that. I'm waiting to hear.

Hey magtibaygom! It seems you got disappointing when you checked your AV memory usage ;)
Just kidding! But I'm still waiting to hear about yours. It is not possible to check and experience all good antiviruses for one person. Please share your experiences. Thank you in advance.

Initially i was using Symantec which slows down my computers (laptop and desktops). After installing the Kaspersky Internet security 2009, the memory problem have been avoided and it completely cleans the viruses also. I think, Kaspersky is best

Yes, I'm also using the new version of KIS. It is obviously better than symantec (at least times ago) from the speed and memory usage point of view. But ESET claims that their AV is better than other AVs including Kaspersky in using system resources.
