afraid of relationships?

I don't know if anybody else has this kind of experience but have you ever fallen in love with one of your friends? since you spend a lot of time together hanging having fun then one day you realize that you're happy to be with this person and slowly falling for her/him but too afraid to take the next step since you're good friends and it might change things once that person knows how you feel for them.
I'm always wondering if should tell that person how I really feel but at the same time I'm afraid that we might lose our friendship because of or maybe she wont talk to me after I confess to her.....is it really worth the risk??to take chanceS? (yah I know, I feel like a loser because of this) T_T

I don't think it's wrong to fell in love with your close friend. I believe everything is worth a try. How could you conclude that she doesn't like you too if you will not try to reach out? Or else, you will regret this once in a lifetime chance to get closer to her. Maybe she's just right there waiting for your first move. (wink2 *)
