You lucky guy. Even mine is love marriage. But the reality is - whether it be love marriage or arrange marriage, difference of opinion between two educated human beings will always be there. AND learning to cope up with difference of opinion is never easy.In my opinion this problem can be overcome only when one partner decides to bow down. Whatever one may say, accepting the other partner as he/she is and not trying to change them to your wishes is almost impossible and whoever is the dominant one in the relationship will always have the upper hand in the relationship and therefore, will be the happier one.

I am happy with whom I am with right now. But I also made the choice to be with person. In arranged marriages its quite different because they are usually strangers to each other. They may eve have conflicting personalities that get in the way. Resentment is another issue. Cultures and traditions are very important to certain society members and they respect them at all cost. A person can grow to love another but it takes time. They can also choose to not want to engage in activity either and making the relationship that much harder. Age also plays a big role. I like who I am with now and can say I would like to be with him for the rest of my life. But no one really knows the outcome. I take one day at a time and am thankful for what I have.

u r lucky, indeed/ and so i am . mine is arranged marriage, which took place 21 years back,but as the marriage is getting older, our love for each other is increasing day by day.
