Many of us says that education is the key to success and its true, I probably believed in that, until today I've continue to study and search for the improvement of my job, here in the Philippines most of the youth, after reaching their high school days, they begin to work and find a job again and again to support their college studies but when the time comes they're more stable in job they forgot to finish their studies because of the job that they have.
What Im trying to say is, assuming that you're a youth and your earn much money at your young age, would you consider that you need proper a education or not?

That's good, and that means we need education as a tool for our success, actually we all have a qualities in life but if you want improvement then you need a proper education, to gain more knowledge.

I came from a poor, working class family in Britain and my way of getting on was to make sure I had a good education. However, when I was young all education was totally free so I was very lucky. These days, young people have to have student loans to put themselves through university so it's not so easy. They get a job to pay for their tuition fees and then never get around to actually going to university. Here, though, it's possible to return to education at any time in your life. I suspect many of them will, in later years, return to education.

Truly admit it or not, we need education, although there's a lot of jobs that don't need much education but still the bottom line is we need it, some people say no with it, still the reason is funds, that's why lot of students have grab loans to achieve their schooling, education is one of many ways on how to be more successful in life.

So you're saying that education is a second priority? Education is a treasure that no one can get it from us, that's why I give more priority on education, regarding your views, you got some points but success cant be easily get without education unless your family was belong to rich one.

Truly it is, but if you have a right education you must have a right focus in life, without focus education become nonsense.

I don't know because I've always enjoyed studying things on my own at my house but there has been some college classes that I've wanted to take so I would probably still further my education event if I had a good salary. I just don't like how there's classes in college that you have to take even though you don't want to. Either way I would continue my education either through a school or through personal studies at my house.

Base on your comment, I think education got more priority, well its good, to finish a course or degree can help a lot because its a foundation to become more successful, some people don't want any education because they give more priorities to meet their daily needs, but for me education got more important. Thanks jambi for your cool comments.

Yes there is, lot of jobs are available for those who are not accomplish their education, but in the long run you need education, what if you're getting old, and you cant perform any of your jobs before? Compare this, hard or dirty jobs needs hard muscles and most of it don't need enough education and decision, also dirty jobs are not for the oldies, unlike the person who finished the right education after a long years of work they deserve to be promoted and when they are old their decision making are much needed because they are educated people, they deserve to be trusted. Have a nice day ebuscat.

Why not? Education and making money are both mutually exclusive, although more education does facilitate money making. Let's see... if I already have lots of money, I would probably choose a subject that I've interest in learning, even if it is not related at all to what I am doing right now to earn money.

So, both are important to you, well that was brilliant idea and I agree with it, because education are part of our life, as of today, you cant have a good job unless you finished some degree in college, anyway I don't disregard being a money earner at the young age, all of us have different ideas and situation in life, that's for us to choose what is the best. Thanks for your nice comments.

Hi..in my opinion, because I love to learn, yes, i will pursue a course, why not, if I have lots of money already, then go for it. We don't know time will come that money will run out, so to be sure that I can still support myself in the future, I'll finish just one course. And then that's it. It's good to be sure.

That's was a nice decision, you choose a good priority for your success, as I have said to this discussion, we cant control the situation even though we have money to support, money is like a water, it easily runs out, so for sure its better to finish a course as your investment in the future.

Education is still very much important despite all the companies who can offer you a position college graduate or not. It's not all about the degree. It's not about the paper. And most importantly, it's not about the money.
The irony here is that, I've met a lot of degree holders who doesn't have any direction, focus or even motivation in life. But I've met a lot of people who have never entered college and yet they are the ones who dream big.
What is education without the right attitude? So I say, if people will get a college degree... they better start setting their mind to their goal. It's all about the attitude.

You're right, having good education or got finished a degree without focus is like a boat without a rudder, that's why more college graduate become more ignorant, also the low standard of education set of the school gives more problem to the students.

I got interested to your last paragraph, you still have a plan, well i think you must give a priority on the last paragraph because that's a treasure that anyone cant steal, money is in there anytime but education doesn't,

I think that even if you find a job, or make a decent living, getting an education is very important. Let's say at a young age you become a musician, or a music artist. You make lots of money and you are still in high school. Do you go to college afterward? I would. I would because you have the money to, and if what you are doing, in this case music, goes down the drain, you always have a backup.

In the headiness of youth and money, I might just be convinced that I don’t need to complete or improve my education. Youth is the time of action and dreams and money is a great stimulation to both. Once you are working and have money, you not only feel responsible supporting your family, you get to have a life of your own too. And as time flies, we forget the importance of education or convince ourselves that life is great! Both my hubby and me have made the same mistakes and are now paying for it dearly. We both started working immediately after college at 21 and got married by 23 and had our family by 25…so you can very well imagine how happy and engrossed we were with ourselves and never thought of improving on our education for better prospects. However now with recession and job insecurity and continuously devaluation of money, we are finding it tough to continue on this income yet our limited education does not permit us to apply for better paying jobs. So if money is not a problem, then one should complete education as much as possible and then look for jobs.

That was encouraging comments, and I think you're right, we need proper education because we cant control time and situation, all the things can be change, so to make sure and have a better success, we have to undergo a proper education.

I just avoid them or keep quiet…I don’t try to interact with them. There are many kinds of negative people…one particular colleague of mine will always brag about how much money she’s spending and what all expensive things she’s buying all the time. Suppose you’ve tried very hard and saved some money and with that you’ve bought a gadget and at office you want to share your happiness with your colleagues. The moment you finish, she’ll start her bragging about how she has a similar gadget but of course much more sophisticated and expensive, how that’s not enough and she plans to upgrade and so on…its enough to suck out all your exuberance and make you feel so small. Nowadays I just don’t talk to her much…I just nod my head to whatever she burbles on.

They can do so, they can go back to school if they want. But some decided to continue earning money because they feel lucky they already have a job while some of the student study hard in school while when they graduate they are jobless. Its hard to give up a job when you are being paid in a regular basis.i wish to continue the job rather in school. While having a degree gives you more the safety to find a job in the future and you will be on the higher rank because of your degree. There are more high paying jobs you can apply because you have a degree compared to those who did not graduate. On the other hand there is still an option to those who are undergrad. When they are working now, save their money and when they have enough money invest or go to have a business. There is still a possibility of success if we just work hard and earn smartly.
