Hello guys,
Sometimes, when I get emotional at night, I cry my emotions out. The thing is, what I hate about crying at night is when I wake up the next morning, my eyes would be puffy and my family would know I cried at night and get worried if there's something wrong. I have a friend, no matter how much she cried, there's no sign of puffy eyes the next day. I envy her for that! LOL
So do you have any ideas to get rid of those puffy red eyes from crying?

Well don't cry then. . Just kidding. I guess it's your body's reaction. I think more often, that's the normal reaction because tears contain salt. as you know, salt can irritate our skin. To think that our eyes is more sensitive than any part of your body. So wash your face after you cry or stop crying at all.

Hi ybong,
I'll try my best to not cry, but crying is one way to let out my emotions instead of bottling inside me. I like your salt logic ;) I agree that our eyes is very sensitive and needs to have extra care. Thanks for sharing!

Don't go to sleep soon after crying this will would cause puffy eyes after you wakes up in the next day,try to relax for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour and then splash your eyes with water and use ice cube to relax the veins all over your eye area for at least 15 minutes and pat dry,in the morning splash your eyes with water again but not with ice cube this time, and use an eye drop to freshen your eyes.
Happy lotting!

Hi cloud,
yeah, I noticed when I immediately go to sleep after crying, my eyes will be ultra puffy the next day. That's a good a idea to relax first for the vein to relax too. thanks for sharing!

hello princess,
That's too bad really dear when we cried and our eyes becomes puffy(hehehe)
Ok,after you cried...(hope you can't sleep crying)...slice tomatoe and put into your eyes before sleeping...it could help to avoid your eyes becomes too puffy in the morning.
It works same like the cucumber...
And,it is better to cry our emotions than keeping it...it can cause you heart problems..so,better cry your heart out and wake up with a light feeling.

Hi jaiho,
I'm familiar with cucumbers good for the eye, but I never heard you can use tomatoes too. I learned something today :) And it's good coz we usually have tomatoes here at home rather than cucumbers. And I agree that better cry your emotions out. If feels good after. Thanks for the advice ;)

I don't think of anything but an ice cube and ice cold water. I just splash and rinse my face with cold water and rub some ice cubes on my eye bags to get rid some of the puffiness. I also have Garnier eye-roller.

Hi danitykane,
The most common remedy suggested here is ice cubes and cold water. Maybe I should invest a Garnier eye-roller, I heard about it ;) Thanks for sharing!

Generally, I splash my face with cold water as soon as I've finished crying and rub dry. The cold makes my eyes not puff so much, and rubbing dry makes my whole face red at once with a valid excuse as to why it's flushed. I have yet to be caught crying after doing these, and it's so simple it can be done most anywhere you go.

I do that too. I splash cold water to lessen the redness and hopefully the puffiness of my eyes. we're on the same wavelength. thanks for your advice ;)
