I am a 24 year old female and i seem to get on a lot better with men then with women as friends. I am very girlie and feminine, so it isn't that. I do have plenty of girlfriends, but every now and then i just tune them out. WHY? Women like to B****, and it's not nessasary. All it shows to people (particulary men) is that women are insecure, need valiation and like to b**** about others to make themselves feel better. I try and remain a non-b****. Every now and then i will banter in a playful way about things, but truly i am confident in myself not to pull people down. It so strange i will be around guy friends, then another girl will could come into the situation and change the whole vibe, by adding catty remarks and all kinds. Don't get me wrong, i love you girls to bits, but we just need stop competeing like lionesses. Lets all put our claws away!

renaissance2010 Some women maybe like to bit@h but most do not, at least the women friends I have do not complain all the time. Most women I know
in this era of 2010 are not insecure as they hold down full time jobs and do not need a man to make them whole, they just marry when they fall in love. Most are married and working. So maybe you need to pick your friends more wisely.

I liked everything you said, but why the dunce caps?- that's not nice or accurate. I am 24 years old so perhaps those of my era/age group are different, and yes maybe it is the company I keep. I hope to make friends with the type of women you must of come across in your lifetime. I apprieciate your comments and respect them, but i didn't think the dunce caps were needed.

I'm sure there are people like that, but I haven't really run into that with my own friends. Then again, I'm a really hard person to get to know...
