If you could study anywhere abroad in a good school, where would you go?

Would you study abroad even if you did not know anybody in that country? I'm currently thinking about studying abroad for my postgraduate degree in medicine. I'm taking up a pre-medical course in the Philippines right now, and while studying medicine locally in maybe the University of the Philippines or Santo Tomas appeals well to me, I'm also looking into the possibility of applying for a scholarship abroad. My thoughts are: which is the best medical school, which is easiest to apply to, and which is the most Asian-friendly country?

I'm planning to take my master degree in New Zealand or Australia. I think New Zealand because I think the environment suits me the best. I don't like noisy place. But I think advanced countries are reliable.

i think as of this time, i wouldn't like to go abroad to study. i would rather go abroad and just spend money and take a tour. be a tourist not a student... i have never really dreamed of studying abroad... i believe the education here in the Philippines is very competitive against international school, if you will go to a private universtiy of course...

The Norwegians go to Denmark in Europe to study medicine, and some go to Sweden, but if we have better education than elsewhere i do not know.
I only know one thing, select a western world country which is accepted in the country/countries you have an idea you want to work afterwards. Because if you end up with a degree they dont accept where you are from it has been a waste of your time. Studying abroad is a good experience and it normally matures people alot because the experiences are different and you have to be able to handle things yourself.

hi,friend, why don't you think about India...Many professionsls in all fields starting from accounts to nuclear studies Indian professionals are ruling the world including IT sector..even Omaba preferring Indian professionals in white house..what more. One more thing in case of Medicine,Indian government is not recognising medicine degree as a degree who studied in some countries including CHINA,that means you bcan understand the Indian standard of studies.................are you got bored?
All the best my friend, wherever you join, but concentrate on your own subject, because professionals will shine not just because of degree, they shine only with sound knowledge in which they want to grow...
I am a poat graduate in Agriculture, specialization in Genetics and Plant breeding.

I finished my bachelors degree in Australia CPA graduate. In your case I think Australia is also good for medical course, but I'd rather suggest try to apply either USA and UK both of these two countries bearing a good medical course reputations and If you can complete the course and your academic results is well enough, you have the possibility to pursue your career and have a reputable license to bring back to your country.Happy lotting and Good luck!
