Albert Einstine said that he only use 15% of his brain. I wonder how did he measure it.

who knows. but imagine if you learned how to use 100%. scientists found it and call it brain magic..from the dormant brain society

Maybe its just a matter of estimation. Albert is an intelligent man. We cannot question and defeat the contributions he has given in Science and the world most importantly. If I may infer, Albert Einstein must have had said that because of the limited time he has to discover more about the world. I mean, if had lived any longer or has another lifetime to live, he must have said that he has finally maximized his brain more than 15% because of the enough time given. Though, he cannot assure himself with maximizing his brain at a hundred percent because after all everything in this world is temporary and fleeting. Who knows, later days, Albert Einstein's theories might be proved wrong. Just a thought.

Hi, job! I recently read somewhere that his estimate is far from the truth, and that brain scans show we use almost all of it. I think he meant the percentage used actively for thought and intellection. So much of it is used for autonomic functions...

Brain and the intelligence cannot be measured accurately.. i hope he said that approximately.. i mean to say you can't measure those and its different to different ppl based upon your intelligence and usage..

The brain may be related to a muscle(except its a ball of fat, bluntly) in the sense that when a person is not in danger, only one-third of a muscle is flexed. When a person is in a life threatening situation however, they use 2/3 to 80% of their muscle which actually causes it to rip apart, but the (for example) heavy rock will not be crushing that person anymore. I do not mean to say that you will hurt yourself if you think too hard, but only that you will not fill out the brains full potential while doing simple math problems
