Have you started any myLot discussions that had no responses?

I started one a few days ago that has not had one response - disppointing and strange. I clicked on the no responses tab and found I was directed to discussions that were four years old. There must be hundreds of them. I hope mine won't stay in that list for ever.

Oh I have had it happen to me plenty of times..I think there are several reasons why, at least relative to my disussions. One is the time of day I think. I work all night and have posted at 3-4 in the morning. Those don't get much attention. Now I wait till a more reasonable hour if I want it to get read! I posted one about global warming one time and the extinction of the polar bear and not one response..I guess what interests me does not interest others. When I first joined MyLot it happened more than now and I thought it was because I was new and people wern't going to give m a chance. Now I know that that is not the case but rather the subject matter. It is very disappointing, I agree with you, but hang in there. Once in a while someone will respond to a discussion that I made months ago which is always a surprise, but it does happen!!

This is why friends are so important, they will respond to even the most boring discussion and you return the favor by covering their discussions. All of us have experience with no response discussions. Just keep working. I've been off line or I might have caught that one for you. Sorry.

Not sure whether they delete anything. Although one of my discussions was deleted. About two weeks later they sent me an email saying they'd deleted it for repetition. Apparently there were several other discussions on the same topic which I hadn't seen. I was glad to find out why, as I had been wondering what I'd done wrong.

its alright if no one want to response to your post, maybe they cant relate to your topic or cant think of any idea to share about it. what matter is your post. since you cant earn from their responses, its your post that will give you earnings its either you created it or you make responses to other post created by other member. just go ahead and continue posting so you will earn.

I just couldn't believe that noone was interested in the dreadful things happening in Madeira. But perhaps it was overshadowed by bigger disasters happening elsewhere. Although any disaster is catastrophic for those involved. Anyway, thank you for your response here. And I'll certainly go on posting.

The discussions on mylot are really a test for you - Just like that you cannot post. Not only that your discussion should attract the other person and he should be moved with that and respond.
But sometimes -yes some are not at all answered.
Any how keep trying and by experience you will know what has to be done on the long run.
