I am going camping tomorrow with my family and some friends. We are going to be staying in a tent, with the toilets and showers about 2 minutes walk away. should be interesting for the kids because this is their first time camping.

I love camping, but I have not been in years! I LOVE sleeping in a tent, fishing, hiking all the outdoors stuff. I was a Forester for many years. Now my knees are in bad shape and I am not able to go hiking, camping or fishing. But I do try to take a stroll through woods when possible.

I also love camping although the past 2 camping trips have not turned out that great...although memorable...our first from 2 yrs ago the husband got his forehead split open. This past summer...his Jeep's water pump went...had to get a family member to come up and tow it out of the mountains....at 1am :(
But all in all we love camping and the kids (4 and 6) love it too :)

I LOVE to go camping. That's one of those things I have to do at least once per summer, if not more. Every year my family and a bunch of neighborhood families (both past and present) go on a huge camping trip to this camp ground that my family has been going to since before I was alive. I like to get close to nature because that is where I experience inner peace and spirituality. Churches do nothing for me. There's nothing better than sitting in front of a camp fire watching the embers glow and sparks fly like fireflies till I drift off to sleep. That's bliss.

Camping is the best. You need to go far to find a place that camping is remote these days. And even then you are not really getting away. Seems a jet will always fly by sooner or later.:-)
Does anyone know how to get rid of the huge image that is automatically being attached to my posts?
