I know children shoes can be quite expensive at times. Do you buy name brand shoes? Do you buy them when they are on sale or marked down? Do you stock pile for further use as they get older? I know I have because the shoe is so cute and she likes it a lot. I like brand name shoes because they seem to last longer hence why they cost more too. What about you? What are your buying habits?

I buy both brand and off brand shoes and clothing. It really depends on the price. I am a major clearance shopper so I get a lot of brand name things very cheap. My daughter is only 3 so she doesn't care if things are brand or not as long as she has LOTS.
I know as she gets older I will have to teach her to clearance shop so she too can have brand stuff and off brand prices!

I do it too. I go to stores and check to see what s on sale or marked down. I also shop on the internet and they can great items at a ridiculous price becuase no one bid on them. I try for quality versus price. The shoes though, mine must be rough or something because they do not last. There are time when the charge would come and i have to buy another because they fell apart. Not happy there. The stores would take them back either. Now the branded name store would take them back if something happened to them. Thanks for input.

I am not used to of buying branded shoes for my kids because I find it impractical kids feet easily grow & it only take weeks to wear them so I will just choose comfortable shoes for my son to wear on.

I know they their feet grow so fast because they are growing. I found out that when I bought cheap shoes for her she was wearing them out before she outgrew them. She is an active child and they would start falling apart. It was a catch 22. I would
re-sell them at garage sales to try and recoup some of my money. I tried online sales but there was not much of a market since you can just go into a thrift store and it would be cheaper than buying them online. Sometime I am real lucky and get them at really cheap price because of a sale or them being marked down because they only have a few left. Thanks for your input.
