has anyone else noticed

I never notice it. As i only notice about the discussion. Where i should response and which discussion i should start. More over it's difficult to remember the name of owner of discussion. So i never notice. And i am not very old member.

hi doormouse yes I have but I think most will show up again. I do not make as many discussions as I used to myself as I like to be able to keep up making comments on them. If I make too many and get a lot of responses on each one then I get overwhelmed in commenting as I like to write at least four lines to each comment, and I do not just write thanks for responding. I think some of our older ones will be back on here too. I also miss them, doormouse.

People do seem to come and go here. It also depends on what else is going on in their lives as to whether or not they come online. I have had friends that have lost connections or moved or lost their e mail account. Most of them will eventually come back, I think. Some leave for a good reason, sometimes it is not such a good reason. I always remind people that there is life outside of MyLot, but I do not plan to ever permanently leave this place. I hope your friend does eventually answer you back and that nothing is seriously wrong in their lives.

There are alot of people still on here that seem to just pop in and out of Mylot all the time.I think that the older mylotters do come on here but not as much as they used to.This week i have had a lot less time to come on here as i have had lots of other things todo as well as lots of other people to take to appointments.I also sent one person a message on here and they took over a week to reply.

Ah, are you talking AGE or the length of time they were in mylot?? I'm old There is antques lady,garden gerty and a few others that I don't recall their names but I've only been here a few months. quita88

Some go and never come back and some come back every once in awhile depends on thier life style and what has changed lately in theor lives

I have noticed, though not all are gone, but some are, mostly due to the fact they wouldn't stay in the guidelines. I like it here and only reason I am not as active is because I don't have internet, or I would be on more..

doormouse, Like some earlier respondents, these old members aren't away for good but are just taking some time away from myLot - where their presence is much needed. Dang! Must be the Afghan offensive, or the Somalia campaign; where internet access is really scarce and limited. I think some of us will just be caught up with our other areas of our lives - kids, moving to new places and etc.. I know some who just need catching up time and are absent for an indefinite period. But all's still well, as I am sure we are able to know more new friends with the evident increase in population here. Have a nice day.

I agree with you I use to have one good friend but I don't know what happen she disapeared I try to find out but she's not on mylot any more. cd

hello door mouse i think you might be remember me very well. i had read your discussion and i had got that what you want to tell. i dont know i am right or wrong, then also i want to tell that as you are telling that there are some peoples who are disappearing from my lot and also they are old members. i think that there are several peoples who are busy in their life management and they cannot handle this my lot due to insufficient time and also they are going to vacation mood or they had decided to take one interval for particular time from my lot so as to refresh their mind for next step. please reply with your comment that how you feel about my comments, please ignore it if i done any mistake in this as i am very much weak in english. i am the one who is different from others as i am only one antique peice in this world(just joking), khan.

I never really did notice that but I am sort of new here so maybe that's why but I really don't think there going to be gone for good but you never know. :)

Hi, doormouse. No, I have not noticed. I do not see some people like I used to. I do wonder what happened to them too. Especially faith210. I hope that she is okay. That was one of my greatest friends there is. I know how you feel. All that we can do is pray that they are all okay and well. I will keep many missing members in my prayers. Because we don't know them personally.

there are some members i know that could still be experiencing bad weather, of heavy snow. i also have this friend of us that i already miss. i hope she comes back lotting again.

Not really I see a lot of the older members on here almost every day or at least the people that I've seen on mylot for quite some time. Either way I believe it's good to have old and new members so that way there are people to help out the new members joining this site. Hopefully they'll come back if they are actually gone.

After being here for a certain amount of time, you do start to notice the names and avatars of some of mylots regulars. Whilst it may seem that they have disappeared, more likely than not they have merely taken a break from posting discussions. Even I take breaks every now and again from mylot.

Maybe they are having a long break. I used to belong a few years ago but I found it was taking too much time up that needed to be used for our homeschooling so I decided to give it up and maybe return once the education was out of the way which it now is . I deleted my old account because I didn't want my details to remain on the site in case I didn't get back to it. I think others must do that too for various reasons. For me this is a very welcome place to come and chat and I am glad to be back.
