Torrents on mobile phones?

i was just thinking about downloaading torrent files on my mobile phone....i googled it and found some apps for it(symtorrent) so i wanted to know has anyone tried downloading a torrent over mobile phone if yes what speeds can i expect(i dont have wifi so the speeds over gsm networks are required)

hi! yes, I have downloaded torrents on my mobile phone using the same application that you have mentioned (symtorrent) and it is working. you only need to have enough free space on your phone and wireless internet connection

my cousin also uses a wifi network for downloading but i dont have a wifi so i want to do it on my 3g network...so thats the problem i dont know whether it will give a good speed or not....

well, I don't know what speed you will have, but you will definitely pay a lot for that, because if you not use the WiFi you will make a lot of traffic

It depends on the phones themselves and the provider networks. Some don't allow that kind of downloading as torrent files are often too large. I wouldn't recommend trying it unless you have a lot of memory for the phone because that would pull a lot of resources. And, cell phones are still working on this issue.
