What's the first thing in your mind when you hear the word "relationship"?

When I hear the word relationship, the first thing in my mind are the couples in love. Though there are more to relationship other than just love, we can also thing about the problems and concerns in the relationship. We can also think of the things that the couple can do to make the relationship work. There are also relationships that's tearing apart. In all aspects of a relationship, the most important thing that we read, see, think or witness about it are the things that we can actually learn from it.

The first thing that comes to my mind is my Love.I don't know why but that is true.I always think about her when I see some couple walks on a road.I think it is natural.Maintaining a relationship is very hard.Every one is not gifted to have a good relation.They are very precious.Also I want to maintain a very good relationship with my friends.Hope I will do....

Women likes it when they know that their man have them as their first priority in their life. Does your love know that she is your first priority that you always have her in your mind? If she doesnt, then let her know. I think its a good way to maintain the relationship if you appreciate and show love in the simplest way you can. I just think it will, it might not be happening to me but its what I want to happen. I hope it will too.

when i hear the word of relationship then i think that belief and love is full of them the another name relationship is belief and love. because all relation break when belief is broken by someone weather relation between parents, wife,friend all relation depend on belief.this is my view. what you think about my view am i right.

Your point of view is indeed unique. I always think that it really depends on the people involve in the relationship. It is what you believe in that will take you to heights while you are working out your relationship with people around you. Belief should not be broken, it should be nurtured for the relationship to be nurtured too. =)

I always feel protected when I am with my husband. Though there are times that I dont wanna be with him especially when we are fighting but he doesnt know the kind of security that I feel every time I am with him. When I feel troubled all I wan tof him was to hug me and that's it but sometimes its difficult for him to do that. He says he doesnt know what to do but hugging is just so simple I wonder why its difficult for him to do that. No matter what, I just hope that my husbad would hug me if I would have a problem. I would feel more secured and protected it he does that. Its a kind of irony that we have here.

When I hear the word relationship, the first thing that usually gets in my mind is a deep affection of two couples in love. The couples in a relationship shoukd love each other eventhough things will change. A beautiful face will turn into a wrinkled one. Let us love beacause we love not because of the outer beauty but the inner beauty....

Exactly! Relationships should more than just physical attraction. If we only consider the beauty outside than the beauty from within then the foundation of that relationship is in vain. We should always remember that real beauty comes from within. If we are looking more in to the physical attractiveness, the relationship will eventually go down. And we dont want that, do we?

I have posted discussions on how to make a relationship work too. The most important thing there now is that we are applying the things that we had in our discussions. We should apply it in our own lives. We can never try to help solve other people's problems if we cant even solve our own. We can then say that we are having a relationship that's deep and true.

for me its the two person whose engage in resposibilities that they both should comply, and when to two got agreed both of them has to work what ever the problem or any that might test between their agreement, aside from responsibilites what in incorporate in a relationship, enough trust, enough love, enough respect, enough time and enough effort. to make things going right whithin the relationship... happy lotting

A couple should agree on something. Sometimes there are disagreements but the couple should be able to know how to handle a situation like that. They have to talk it out, and make compromises. Relationships are sometimes demanding but that's a part of it. Love should always be remembered when you are having some things going around with somebody.

Marriage is a big part of a relationship. It is also the most important decision you have to make in your life by choosing the person you want to marry because in marriage there's no turning back. Though some people can easily say that if the marriage wont work then they can just split up, get a divorce and all that but it should never be the an option. Both parties should be willing enough work for the best.

Greetings p3ks626! When I hear the word relationship what comes to my mind its that both parts of the couple are doing their best to make it work! I mean, if one is giving so much to the relationship and the other one doesn't, its not a real one, its just a shame.
Also if a couple is just surviving and tolarating each other, but they aren't doing something to make the relationship work, one day it will just dissapear! I guess that to me it is the effort and things a couple does to increase the love and help one each other.

I like that part when you said that surviving and tolerating is not a healthy way of making the relationship work. I should try and remember that. But I must admit that things like this really happen in some of our relationships and its a sad thing because some couples doesnt seem to understand on what it means to work out a relationship. Since we are talking about efforts here, what do you do in your relationship to make it work? What efforts do you make?

Whenever I hear the word relationship, I sigh and think that the couple is in love. For me relationship, I find it superficial at first because of the getting to know you part and then it gets deeper, and eventually in some leading to a commitment. Having a relationship is fun and it depends on the people involved how would they make the relationship stronger.

Growth in a relationship is gradual. We cant just expect things to happen so easily like magic. And yeah, as the relationship grows deeper and deeper it would be harder to break it. Having a relationship with someone is like a roller coaster ride. There are ups and downs but you're really gonna enjoy and have fun working out things.

When I hear the word, I also think imediately of two persons being in love, even though a relationship can have different meanings. A relationship for me it's a strong bond between two persons who feel some deep and pure feelings for one another, relationships can start, can end, can go on forever and so on but are always a beutiful thing.

Right! Its like you have your partner in your mind right away. If you have him/her in your mind then a lot more things spring out from it. It could be something negative or positive but whatever that things it, the main thing that you have there is the love that you have for each other and how you value to each other.

I like your response. Happiness is a huge factor in a relationship. You could never call your relationship a relationship unless you are happy about it. I guess all of us want to have a happy relationship. When you are in love and in a relationship, when you remember your partner then the thought of him/her puts a smile on your face. How sweet is that.

i always think about my friends at first. nothing is equal to friend in this world. they only care for us in critical situations. the friend may be a boy or girl,the relation is much true in case of friend . there will be no hidings in our relation even my girl friend also shares all her feelings to me!!!!!!!

That's the reason why some people prefer to have friends than to have a boyfriend or girlfriend because they can be more open to each other. When you are with a friend you are never hesitant to tell them something because you know they will not judge you. Its always nice to have a friend whom you can lean on.

Trust is also the most important thing to have in a relationship. You cant have a relationship with someone unless you trust him/her. Trust should be gained. Once it is gained, it should be taken cared of because it will stay there forever if you take care of it properly. Once it is broken, it will be very difficult to put back all the pieces of a broken trust.

In a relationship, I think regret should be the last thing that you do. We may say that there were things that hurt us before but we should never regret the choices we had for having a relationship with someone. True it hurt you but the most important thing is the lesson that you learned from being hurt and always strive not to hurt other too because you have been hurt before.

Strong bond is really important in a relationship. Commitment is also a very strong word that ones we commit ourselves to someone then we'd better make sure that we know what we're doing. There are so many things required in a relationship. It will really depend on the couple on how they can be strong despite of all the differences they have.

Love and commitment always go together. As you said, its not only between husband and wife, or girlfriend and boyfriend but has something to do with your family and friends. Commitments doesnt only apply to couples having a relationship but all people whom we are having a relationship with and thats people all around us.

Fun is good! Commitments and serious promises are even better. I think this is all that has something to do with relationships because you start having fun first, get to know each other, fall deeply in love with each other and then go to the next level. It only depends on the couple how they would call their relationship a relationship.

Friendship is also a very important element in a relationship. Sometimes it is hard for people to say their problems and concerns to their partners but easier to say things to their friends. I was thinking, if your partner is your friend then a relationship would be much stronger. You would never hesitate saying something to your friend because you know your friend would not judge you in anyway. It you treat your partner that way then love will keep on burning.

Well once relationship had been materialized, commitment is at hand,simply once we get into a relationship we ate referring a closeness of two person(one.woman) or perhaps a friendship,but in all the relationship at in any kind, it will be accompanied by a word commitment to make the relationship works.

In a relationship, I think every thing would count on the commitment that we have for the people around us especially to our partner. For me, commitment is more than just a promise between husband and wife. Its a promise between husband and wife and God. I always here people say that God should be at the center of a relationship. It makes sense what they are saying because there are so many things to know and learn from and it would be much easier with the guidance of God.

Thank you for that Bhemzky! My husband and I always try to make things work. I must admit there are a lot of differences but if we let pride get in to our way in making the relationship work then that would give you a hard time. It will be more difficult to give each other the understanding that we ought to give. Relationship is a give and take process.
