This is the email, that my friend has sent to me. I'm working as her captcha encoder(any doubts about her honesty, she just paid me today through Liberty Reserve).. I also have other friends who are experiencing the same thing.
Hi guys,
Just today I got a notice from PayPal that they have limited
my account access due to detected suspicious activity regarding
the receipt or withdrawal of funds.
Well, I don't really understand why they have to do it coz
all transactions in my account are online services related
and not goods related.
Sad to say, while my account is limited, I cannot receive nor
send payments thru PayPal. However, pls. note that there is nothing
to worry about your payments. I can still send it to you.
But in order to do so, you've got to have a smartmoney or webmoney a/c
to where I can transfer your payout. Pls. note as well
that the schedule of payout for smartmoney & webmoney a/c holders
is every Fri.
I am currently completing all the documents that PayPal
has required me in order to regain my account access back to normal.
And while I'm waiting for that time, I'm sorry that I cannot process
your payout thru PayPal yet.
Sorry for this inconvenience. I hope this won't discourage you
for working with me.
Thank you.
Regards,
She never did anything suspicious but it happened to her.
I'm not verified, but I want to know who are experiencing these as well, especially for those who has there accounts verfied.. Hoping for your response..

I have a verified paypal account and aside from my stupidity the other week I have not encounter any problems at all with regards to my paypal account nor did I received any email from them about limiting my account. I hope by now your friend had sorted things out with paypal and I hope you are now a verified member too.

My account in paypal has gone through it also. It became limited though it is verified. They just give me steps to make it work normal again. It took me 180+ days for a proof of address which I gave them but still they don't accept it, the reason I dont know. Later on, I followed them up and they want me to call them back and which dont bother 'coz it will just cause me expenses. In short, I found an alternative which cost me 1.95 because I added another bank account. And after days, they let me change my password and it is normal again.
