Among Major festival of India, Holi is also celebrated with enthuisiasm and gaiety on the full moon day in the month of Falgun. which is inthe month of march as per georgian calender and tomarrow is holi.

Yes deepa some youngesters enjoy this festival in their own way. Uses different chemicals , mud and lot other ways . Now peoples are very much aware and going back to traditional methods or using herbal colours which are very much eco friendly and does not have any side effects on skin. Still in india there are different traditonal ways of celebrating this festival and the message is same , freindship, forgiveness & brotherhood.

hi! yesterday I saw many discussions about this festival here and on some other sites, and I am really very interesting about it- how it was contrived, is this a festival for all Indians or just for some regions. And what "Holi" means? Is it "color" or is it not, because you say it is a festival of colors

Yes Phoenix it is the festival for all Indians. Infact it is the festival for every one who believes in victory of good over evil. Ths will help the peoples to follo a good conduct in their lives and believe in teh virtue of being truthful. which is extremely important in our modern society where few people resort to evil practices for small gains and torture honest peoples. Holi helps the people to believe in virtue of being truthfull , honest and also to fihht away the evil.

Yes, Holi is festival of colours, festival of showing love towards our fellow human being. People in India celebrate holi with great enthu. different part of India has different way of celebrating holi.
