My take on Haruhi Suzumiya

I mainly enjoyed the series because it was hilarious. The storyline seemed crazy and it was kinda confusing due the fact that the episodes are not chronologically ordered. However, I still enjoyed watching it! Haruhi is simply over the top, and I enjoyed Kyon's sarcasm. I feel bad for Mikuru a lot of times, though I feel like her whimpers are deafening LOL. Nagato is my favorite among all the characters, followed closely by Shami the talking cat haha. The second season wasn't quite as enjoyable, and it was a pain watching the episodes in which they keep reliving the summer break. I think they lost a lot of viewers because of this. I stuck it out though, and was glad to see the story finally move on, especially the episode with Shami. I actually am not aware of the movie, but I will definitely watch it once the subbed is released.

for me, Haruhi is so cute!! i know one of the gory part that seems to be in your mind ehehe was that the battle of yuki (i think i forgot the name ehehe) when she got hit by all those whatever that punctured her chest through her back ahaha that was the gore!! gore!!(but not that gore compared to elfen lied) -^^- still, it's a very nice anime!! tho i havent really finished watching it!! ahaha!!

Well i just started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya yesterday and so far it's okay. Not one to inspire fandom in me but enough to entertain, as i see myself in her. Hahaha~ good thing i am not as selfish as her, wanting things for herself without thinking of the consequences. Actually i watched the movie first before i learned about the series. So basically i had some idea when i went in and watched The Melancholy while some questions from watching the movie were answered after watching the series. If i'd rate it from 1 to 5, 5 being the highest i'd give it a 2.5.

lol is all i can say about haruhi. They messed up the episode orders (was that supposed to be funny?) and people appeared out of nowhere. And the talking cat episode was really hilarious! The season 2 was annoying - kind of - with all the repeats from episode 2 to 8 or 9. Those were the longest episodes half-hour i've ever seen in my life! If there is a movie, i sure hope its released soon, i'm gonna watch it ofcourse. Haruhi has some great concepts, ideas and unique ways to express their ideas and concepts. lol. Happy mylotting.

Haruhi is pretty good, i can't say it's a fantastic piece of work from my opinion because of it's randomness. But it does have cute characters and it would be worth watching if you like to see cute anime characters. Also i don't want to spoil it for you but the 2009 version have like 6 repeated episode, they are just same episode except with different clothing each time. beside that fact, good watch it.
