My hair is becoming dry due to excessive ironing and hair coloring. I always use hair iron or blower to style or dry my hair. I couldn't help but use them because if I don't my hair would look very weird. The problem is it became so dry. Any tips on how I can restore my old beautiful hair which is soft and silky? I am afraid that the shampoos available would just put another burden in my hair.

Give yourself a hot oil treatment. Heat olive oil to a bit more than lukewarm. Put it on your hair and work it in. Cover with plastic wrap for thirty minutes and shampoo three times.
It should come out with a glorious shine and be more manageable.

I suggest coconut milk for your hair, it is more proven and used back way years ago. I remember my grandmother used to do that to my hair because it does really give shine and lustrous and not only that it also minimize hair falling and thinning.

you can use hot oil treatments or just buy hot oil cream in jars. they are very affordable. apply these on your hair regularly and you can get back the oil in your hair. i have also had my hair straightened, and the people from the salon noted that my hair is really dry. so they told me to go to them for hot oil treatments. but since that is quite expensive, i just bought my own hot oil /hair spa and do it at home.

Hi hanagi,
My friend had that same problem. Well, we both use biosilk to keep our hair moisturized. It is a oil like gel whose only one drop is needed to make the hair shine. Go to salon and ask about it to hairstylist. These days most of them use it.

You can buy lots of products now to pre treat your hair before you style it with hot hairdryers and irons. I think what you need is a deep conditioning treatment on a regular basis.

I have an excellent idea because I use it and it has restored my hair and believe me, my hair was extemely dry. I purchased Argan oil but only use a tiny bit, it makes it so shiny and healthy. I would put the website on but I am not sure if I allowed to. However you can do a search on the internet and I would also recommend Chi as well but the oil above is the best so far. Good luck and I hope this helps.
