Hello everyone! Just having problems with my min pin puppy. He's very energetic and just so uncontrollable. He always wants to play and bites, well not really the kind of painful bite, but since he's teeth is kinda sharper now, it sometimes hurt a bit. I always tell him no and even try to spank him at times but he seems to even more wants to play when I do this.
Do you know any ways to control his behavior?

My neighbour's pug is 8 months old now and coz both me and my hubby like him a lot he is here for almost half the day infact he really loves to bite on my hubby leg earlier it used to not pain but now it is quiet painful and as you said he just does not stop biting inspite of getting a good spanking.
Another problem with him is that he keeps pissing around in my house. Once I got so mad that I really gave him a good spanking but still he does. Can I do something about it as I really like him and if he does not stop this habit I will have to stop getting him to my house which I would not like.

It is very simple. Have your dog trained. It is the right thing to do. Go with the dog to a puppy obedience class and then to a real obedience class. Hitting him won't work and if you don't do it now - things will only get worse. Spend the money and get it done right.

well you may know the puppy is teething which mean is his time to change teeth like babies so what you do is allow it with some toys to chew on. It will pass.

Oh my! He's the same with newly acquired male long haired dachshund. He is so active. He's fond of nibbling anything, the slippers, shoes, the couch, the foot rag, floor mat, carpet. The more you tell him no, the more he's going to nibble. I bought him an edible bone for him to nibble, but still he finds it to nibble anything inside the house. Maybe, all puppies really pass this stage.

Spanking will not solve the problem. It is time to get your puppy a choke chain and to start lead/ leash training he will get some of his and your frustrations out by going for walks and learning something new, BASIC OBEDIANCE. People will find it shocking when their puppy starts learning something new bad habits stop.
Do not allow him to bite / nip you or anyone. If he does grab the choke chain and be FIRM, YELL NO, So he gets the picture that this behavior is not acceptable. Another way is to grab the scruff of the neck when he does something bad and yell no. Mothers of puppies do this all the time to controll their little ones.
REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U..
