The discussion may not be very elegant, but I will tell you why a start this discussion.
Yesterday I was in the mall to shopping, and there I saw a woman who fainted, and of course, as he fell, high dress and remained naked .
I am sorry to say, was a young woman, but had no clean underwear .
I mean a man who went to help was withdrawn, embarrassed, and like not have the same compassion for her.
Course of female solidarity, I am rushed and I covered it, someone else will not see in this embarrassing position.
They came to save the woman may lose calcium, and made an injection of calcium, and took her to the hospital, but I left with a bitter taste, and with a kind of shame for that young woman.
And I remembered what I have said my grandmother, who was a real lady, "always when out on the street, even when you go to buy bread, take care to be very clean, over and underneath also". Good advice for everybody i am sure.
It is not enough you blush, to have a beautiful dress must be very clean throughout, for you never know what can happen.
o have an accident, you fall, you can be in various situations that can put you in situations shame.
What do you think, my grandmother was right, because of my memories was the cleanest person I ever met.

Hi, Ice!
Sad, but often true!
I wondered, when I was a little girl, why so many parents advised their children to be sure they were wearing clean underwear. I can't imagine wearing any that isn't clean, nor would I be comfortable without any. I guess some people feel very differently, since there are so many incidents similar to the one you related!

Hi Teacher, is sad but true, many doctors do not account for patients who do not go to control clean, I have a friend, doctor, who tells me how sick she feel sometimes when she must do her job ....as i said; sad but true, water is so cheap, really, and good sense is for free

Some of those people might not be ill if they were to practice better hygiene!

I am not sure if that was an embarrassing situation for the lady in question. Maybe she had an accident in her pants whilst falling? Who is to say? Well I am sure there was a reason for the dirty underwear, even if that reason was that they weren't so much dirty as stained, a stain that couldn't come out.
Afterall, in my opinion, clean underwear shouldn't be a factor at all, unless you are courting.

I am not a woman.. But I always use a fresh one in the morning after bathing and change it when the day chores are over. If I ever go out again in the night for shopping or party or walk, I bath again and use fresh one again. I uses inner vests with shorts sleeves as well.
Also we Muslims are supposed to wash off with water after they urinate or defecate.
Peace.

Yes, we should always be prepared because we did not know what will happen next. Wearing a clean underwear should be practiced at all times, wherever you go or do. It was a very disgusting situation for that woman for not wearing a clean underwear

Well, if some of the really worst things happen you tend to lose control of bodily functions anyway. First responders and hospital workers are used to it and it's just how the body works.
However, if it is just a case of your underwear revealed by accident that could be pretty embarrassing if they are not nice and clean.

I remember my mom always telling us to be sure to wear clean underwear; you could be in an accident or something. I always thought that that was so stupid, but I did what she said anyway. No one got to see my clean underwear, until I was in an accident in Colbert, Oklahoma. Then the nurses at Denison Hospital in Denison, TX, got to see them. Fortunately, they were still all white. :}

we have seen a lot of incidents like this, not even in tv but also in real life. that is some kind of an embarrassing experience. my wife always tells me that we should not really be confident and we really have to wear clean and something always new in the looks. we really may not know what happen outside when we are there.

It is important to have clean dress and keep yourself clean by taking shower often. It is very important to have clean underwear. It is not because soembody will watch you in unclean underwear. It is because it is a big matter of hygiene. You will get many diseas especailly when your underwear is not clean. It is really embarassing. There is also a small chance that the person may be poor and might have only one or two underwares.

This is funny but I have to say it is true. I fainted on my own in the bathroom a few months back and the first thing I thought of when I gained consiousness is did I have clothes on. Then it went to what underwear was I wearing. Because of course you will never know if you will wake up on your own or with somebody like for me my in-laws may be the ones who may find me.

Some people will change their underwear a couple of times a day while some will wear them for a few days in a row. I imagine some people are more conscious of their personal hygiene than others. There are some people who care less if you can smell them a mile away. I don't want anyone undressing me and being revolted because I have poor hygiene, I'm wearin' clean underwear.

Oh dear.
Maybe this person was very poor and does not have enough underwear to have clean everyday.
It would become quite unhealthy to wear the same underwear continuously without washing between wearing.
I am not sure whether you meant she was not wearing any underneath but it could be that she would rather have her underwear washed and drying before wearing it and hasn't enough changes of clothes in the meantime.
Especially as she fainted from lack of calcium.
There is a book called 'Tuppence to cross the Mersey'(by Helen Forrester) all about a young lady who suffers from similar misfortune for years.

The description caught my attention and when I read the story, I am also taken aback. Yes, like that man I will also withdraw from helping her and lose most of my usual compassion. I will probably still help her if nobody else saw the embarrassment.
But what I am really curious about is that, what did you mean by dirty underwear exactly? Spaghetti stains all over her underwear?

I fainted in the mall once, myself. I was under a lot of stress, and I fell over, when looking at a piece of jewellery in a local store. Yes I had clean underwear, but I also had a very very long skirt on, so there was no way it was going to move up my legs when I fell, so I dind't have to worry about exposing anything.

Hi icesmile! I guess it's true about our mother's always telling
us to "always wear clean underwear in case we are in an accident"!
I always thought that sounded silly! But, I always wore clean
underwear all the time anyway! And, I would never have gone
out with any underwear at all ever! I think that is totally
disgusting! I never understood how women could go out without
anything on underneath their clothes! I think that was so nice
of you to try and help this woman out! I think it was really
awful that she had no underwear on underneath her dress! Good
for you to try to "protect" her dignity even if she couldn't!
This should teach women to remember what their mothers and
grandmothers taught them! Never leave home without clean underwear!
And definitely never leave home without any underwear!!!

Good advice, Icesmile. Well, when i was young my mother always remind us to be very clean on everything that we wanted to wear when we are out from home. It's for healthy purpose and also show good and clean attitude. Since now, majorities women do wear pants, i think it's the best way to prevent unwanted people to saw our underwear, in case we trip or fall. But, i think no matter how dirty the person may appear, we still must provide the help they needed when we can. Because saving a person save is a noble job.

Yes I agree with your Grandmother. It really embarassing to fall & someone see your underneath dirty that's why everytime I goes out of the house I always see to it that I have a good underwear so that anything happen & they need to undress me then its not that embarassing that someone will see my dirty underwear.

Poor lady but there no reason to not have clean underwear! My mother taught me this to.. Too always have clean underwear and bra because you never know what can happen. But then she argues with me that by me not shaving my private part the hart will hide it so the doctors doesn't see my v... but I disagree I think it would be much more pleasent it u have a shaved v than a hairy bush. Lmao .im glad you went to cover the lady.. Its so embarrassing how you have to look after other people because they are to lazy.
