The Fiancee and I found out in December that we will be expecting our second child, who is due August 9th, 2010 (8/9/10).
So far we have been flipping through the baby book of names, but truly haven't come up with ANYTHING yet for either a boy, or a girl, so I was looking to you myLotters for some help.
We need some help with a name for our child, if you'd like, please post a boy and a girl name or two, to help Amanda and I out :-)
Thanks all!

A good friend of ours named her daughter Avaya Faith. I think it is very beautiful.
My first daughter's middle name is Hope. I'd really like to continue that kind of theme, with something like Faith or Love for a middle name. Or even Dream. I like that for a middle name.

I always wanted to have a boy and I would name him Jason. I never got that chance I only had two girls. As for a girls name my daughter wishes that I had called her "Summer" because she was born in the summertime. How about Amy or Adam. I hope this helps you. May you be blessed with a happy healthy baby.

I think Brennan is a nice name for a boy.
For a girl...hmmm. How about Jordan? I've always liked that for a girl. Mallory is also a great name.

Girls names I like are Charlotte, Eden, Holly ,Georgina or Lauren. I met a little girl the other day called Lexi and I think that is a really cute name.
Boys names I like are Adam, Brett, Leon, Robert and Toby.
Good luck with choosing your baby's name. I hope that Amanda is enjoying a happy and healthy pregnancy.

congratulations, well i guess we have the same feelings too coz im also going to give birth same month, August but on the 4rth but its my first child so im quite excited even if the father left us. i already have names to choose for my baby though i dont know yet if i will be having a boy or a girl coz i need to wait 5 or 6 months before we can see the gender of my baby through ultra sound here since we dont have high tech ultra sound unlike in the US i heard that 4 months they can already see the gender of the baby. good luck to us

Congratulations to you as well! You'll have to keep in touch a long the way and let me know how it is coming a long. It is exciting that we are both going through this and will have a baby possibly days apart!
March 17th we'll know the gender, so it'll narrow the search down in a few weeks :-)
Good luck, keep in touch :-)

Hi, first of all I would like to offer my congratulations. I had the same problem when naming my second daughter, even when she was born we still didn't have a name in the end we went for Libby-Ann which never even made the final shortlist. Our first daughter is Lauren Emma.
Other girls names we liked included : Lydia, Hannah, Alana, Ava and Elena.
Boys : Harry, Issac, Joe, Jack and Joshua. Thats a lot of J's!

Have you been looking at mine and Amanda's list of names per chance?
I really love the name Lydia (unfortunately is a good friends name), Hannah and Ava (but we can't do Ava, Amanda's best friend has a baby named Ava)
While Amanda loves Isaac and Josh
Great names, thanks!

We were also looking at Marcus, but a week ago today, a very good friend of ours had a baby and named him Marcus. Which was odd because we refused to discuss names with eachother so we wouldn't steal names from eachother.
But they still managed to snag one from us.
I really love Sofia....that one is going on my list. Thanks :-)

Some great ideas there. You mentioned Azariah, which is close to a name that Amanda and I have discussed. We are slightly fond of the name Azayah, but we're still in desperate need for ideas.
This second pregnancy is odd when it came to the name. When we found out the news we were having our first baby, Amanda immediately had a name chosen and that was it, throughout the whole pregnancy. This one, we've got no idea.
Thanks for the idea...I really like Zay too!
