I Got A Part-Time Job

I am going to be an Aide in the Special Ed at the school part-time. I will work Mon-Fri 11:30am-3:30pm.
I will be off when my kids are, so no babysitter.
I will make around $300-$400 a month, depending on how many days a month I work.
For me, that is "extra" money since I haven't worked in 8 yrs, we have been on 1 income.
I am excited. I start Monday Subbing to see if I like it and then go from there, I chose to do that. I think I will like it though, there will be 2 Aides and then teacher with 5 kids, so a lot of 1 on 1.

Congrats to you! Sounds like you are really looking forward to going back to work and getting out of the house. It is great that you will not need a babysitter, that is what holds most ppl back when they have kids (the sitters are just to expensive). Enjoy yourself on Monday!

I THINK I am ready to get out of the house, I just feel like this is my 2nd chance. I had the interview 3 weeks ago and was told I did NOT get the job, well someone they offered the job to, said she wanted full-time, so now they called me. I was one of their top candidates.
I just feel like I am suppose to take it and it is the perfect hours.
