Why red ants bite, why black ants don't?

Funny so it seems but red ants really are aggressive in terms of biting one's foot or one's hand.. or worst.. the other parts. It's not really that painful but you will really get annoyed by it. Bite one after the other.. But, how those black ones dont.. it seems they don't care, seems they are just passing by or are they just busy looking for food?

hi there!
Hahaha! that's so funny! Yeah, when I was a kid I use to hate red ants. I wonder about it too. Black ants are more timid and shy. Gentle is the right term I guess. Maybe red ants can eat a lot of food variations than those of black ants. Maybe black ants can't eat those of red ants eat such as hard food or something. You get what I mean. LOL. Haha!
Happy Lotting!
