The children has no obligation to pay back to their parents. But its your duty to let your parents feel that you really appreacite them in what they did to us. I always bring food everytime I go home from work as simple as ice cream, they alreay smile at me. Everyweek End, I always alloted time for them. Going out with them watching movie.

No...the kids are IMO obligated to take the opportunities given to them and put them to good use then when they are parents themselves they are obligated to do the same for their children that was given to them by their parents...

Although it is the right of a child to get education, it should be taken that we should at one point in time pay them them back. I think they sacrificed their time and effort to give you the best education they can to make you who you are right now I think a little return of investment would be fine. But for the parents' they should not oblige their children to pay them back. I think out of love they should accept what the child can give back to them.

It is the parents' duty and obligation to raise and take care of their children and to give them education and a better life. But it is not the children's obligation to pay their parents back because of what they did for them. It should be out of love that the children take care of their parents in return.

Well i believe its neither duty or obligation or previlege, its the pure love that the parents shows to their son and in return to show his love by paying back to their parents.

In my opinion it would all depend on what the parents want as well as the parents / student's income... If the parents want the children to pay them back for sending them to school then I am sure a payment schedule would be set up, or if the student's feel they should pay their parents back, again a payment schedule would be set up. I think whether or not a child should pay back their parents for whatever they may have borrowed, all depends on the family situation as well as the want or need of the parents / students to do this.
