first Zimbabwe beat Australia in the t20 world cup and now they have toppled another good t20 side by beating west indies in west indies in a low scoring affair. west indies were found out in their weakness against spin and crashed to a defeat not even reaching 100 runs after playing their full quota of 20 overs.

can describe it in only one sentence.crappy batting from both the sides.thats it.
not THE best bowling from either side but seems windies and zimbabwe players are trying to be the top 3 teams .
you know like how south africa lost 7 wickets for 42 runs and how india bundled out cheaply.may be they think losing too many wickets too quickly might make them par with the top teams.

but every pitch in india is a batting beauty, almost.its refreshing to see team struggling to score runs in a T20 match.we need these kinda pitches to test the performance of batsmen just like how india got flat pitches to test quick bowlers performance (?????)have a nice day

not every pitch in the world is a batting track. batting was difficult on this pitch and assisted spinners it can be seen from the fact that west indies played the full 20 overs and still did not get the runs. we saw what happened in the mumbai test between India and Australia. that was not because the batsmen played badly. it was because of the pitch.

well i think there is nothing much between the two teams. right now west is as weak a team as bangladesh and so there is no interest in watching their matches also. i think it is high time they start to give more importance to the sport and do better.

i would not say west indies is a weak side. Zimbabwe has beaten Australia in a t20 match and we also saw Netherlands beat England. the last champoions trophy comes to mind when a second string west indies took on Australia. they would have won that match had the umpire given mitchell johnson out. it remains to be seen what happens in the one day series now.

Despite not having Chris Gayle in their rankings, the West Indies side had enough firepower that they could easily win this low scoring off t20 match against Zimbabwe. But as saw, Zimbabwe new ball bowlers were successful in making early inroads for the team before the match would slip out of their grasp and then rest of the bowlers followed pursuit by taking crucial wickets at regular intervals and never allowed any batsman to settle in and make a good partnership which lead to their victory!!

its good to see team like zimbawe coming up.
but the westindies are not a stron team now.
westindies are not the old westindies they are going down match by match its not good.

I think Zimbabwe will fetch some confidence from this match. But i don't think this will improve there up coming ODI series. They must learn how to stay in pitch, otherwise 1/2 T'20 win will be their 'historic' win & they will be a list of historic team.
