sleep during the wet hair will damage your eyes? seem unreasonable and difficult to explain scientifically .. just I know, sleeping during the wet hair will only make your mattress and pillow wet, and that means just going to make mattresses and pillows you become smelly ..

i also heard that before that if we sleep with our hair wet it will damaged our eyes though i dont know why, when i ask my professor who happened to be a doctor he said theres no such things as that. and yes your right, it will only makes our pillow smelly and i guess it will also damaged our hair but not our eyes

My mom would cover her wet hair to go to sleep because if she didn't , she would catch cold. I hadn't heard about the eyes. Wow.

I've done this nearly every day for over 10 years, and I still have great vision. I actually don't sleep well unless my hair is wet.. It helps regulate body temperature and keeps me cool as I drift away (=

I've never heard of this, but I know that it can be uncomfortable and cold at times. I have been doing it for years no harm so far :)

Yes, that is what they were saying. When I was kid, I obeyed them and avoided sleeping with a wet hair. But as I grow older, I can't help but do it sometimes. Well, for my experience, sleeping while your hair is still wet will cause you a headache. Well, this is just based on my experienced. So that's why I believe that it's really bad to sleep when your hair is still wet. Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

I've never heard that one but it doesn't sound very logical to me. My mom always told me not to go to bed with wet hair because I would catch a cold...which also isn't logical since a cold is a virus. I have never heard or read anything about it being unhealthy in any way.

There's no scientific evidence that connects sleeping with wet hair causes blindness. What we should research on is how our ancestors came up with that conclusion. They may be not that educated when it comes to science but we have to admit that there are things science just can't explain. As the saying goes "better be safe than sorry".
