What are loose joints? How does it affect us?

Loose joints what does it mean in elders like what are the disadvantages of this? Are there any particular exercises which we can practice....Is it harmful to have loose joints....

If the joints in your hands and wrists are loose, you can strengthen them by these exercises:
1) gently squeeze together the two bones (tibula and fibula?) in your lower arm and then slowly release. This should not be painful, so if it is you are squeezing too hard. Gently release. Repeat 10 time 3 times a day.
2) Touch the ends of your thumb and pinky fingers together. Now with your other hand try to pull them apart. The point is to keep them together.

I do not think loose joints are harmful, but ofcause you must be sure that you dont get into positions where you overstreetch these joints. The joints which are more loose than they should be can be helped by stronger muscles around the joints.
