its summer here already and some part of our country suffered from black out and limited supply of water. government also said that they will use few of our wate dam to be used for hydro electric power supply to run our electricity, but how about our water?
if left no choice which one would you choose. water or electricity?
for me i guess i rather choose water as we need it the most, i cant imagine my life without it. electricity. our ancestors used to lie without electricity before so if they can do that then maybe i can too. theres candle that i can use for light or just sleep early at night so no need for light. though we just need to sacrifice other things like watching television, internet and etc.
How about you?

If I were to choose one, i would definitely go for water.. for sure, losing water would be so hard for all of us...imagine, you could not take a bath, do the laundry, wash the dishes, drink water(some people drink water from the faucet) and many many more... life would suck without water supply... here in our country, we are currently experiencing really hot weather (El nino). I have heard over that El nino may affect Philippines' water supply. The government is tracking the water levels of Angat dam and other dams as well.. Flyers on water conservation are being distributed nationwide.. I am hoping and praying that this predicament will come to an end very soon...

yes your right, we need water for bath, i cant imagine myself being smell stinky without having a bath for weeks and our cloths for laundry, wihtout it im sure we are all smell like rotten fish, we look like those people who live in the street the only difference is, we have our home to keep us safe and warm.

Hello homeshoppers,
that's funny, we had a black out few hours ago that lasted two hours, No electricity and no water. the reason is that water pumps depend on electricity and we get water from the deep well so it's hard to have no electricity because water is out too.
regarding your question, i would choose electricity. we do have "poso" but it's broken

yes i know but its not only poso that give us water, i mean you can still buy water from water station right if theres really no other way. i know its hard to lost electricity specially now that already summer, we need fan or air condition to cool our self at night thats why i also hate black out coz we cant sleep, theres too many things that need to run by electricity. but then i will still choose water if theres only one to choose between the two.

I would definitely choose water because it is a necessity. It is a basic need for us to live. We will get sick and die if we will not be able to drink water. Electricity is more of a desire, we can live without it actually. Life will be simple without electricity and it can make most people hardworking again. Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

yeah, of course, we should choose water, most specially if we have our own water pumps. People will die if they can't drink for more than two days but the haiti incident proved that people can last a week with out water, unless the haitans are the best.

Definitely water. We can live without electricity or food, but we cannot live without water. It's our basic need for our body to survive. I could live without electricity, we are very creative in keeping ourselves occupied without the use of gadgets needing electricity. If our ancestors can do it, so can we. We must be resourceful and creative in order to survive this world.

yes thats right though it will be very difficult to us if theres no electricity as lot of company will closed and a lot of people will lost their job as all company depends with electricity. but if talking about life survival then water is important than anything else.

yes your right, without water to drink for a week will weaken our body til we die due to dehydration or loss of water in our body. but electricity we can only suffer without television or internet or other things but we can still be alive. so sad coz a lot for farmers here lose their crops due to lack of water to supply their fields as some river are already dry and our water dams the water are already below critical level since theres no rain and summer is just started here theres still more to come.

Heres what i have to say about this question, i can survive a day without electricity. Actually there was this instance that in our street all of the households dont have access to electricity for 9 months, we used batteries for our flashlights and radios but no tv's no refrigirators not enough light to light the house every night but we survived for 9 months. Imagine a life without water for one day, just one day yes you wont die yet but try to imagine the hardship that you will have to go through... ;)

I choose water too, but I know most of the people will choose electricity as we can buy water on the grocery, but unfortunately we can take a bath or clean our selves. We can’t wash our clothes or things, because there is no supply of water. While those who will choose electricity, they will choose it for the reason, without electricity, manufacturing will stop too. some company will stop operations too, but if they are richer company obviously they have generators, I hope their generators will last long. And some will not find enjoyment staying inside their homes because it is very hot without electric fans or air conditioners. Some can’t do mylotting because there are no electricity. But as you said during those times people don’t rely on electricity. But today in our modern world, all of us rely in electricity so I guess it will be hard on our part without electricity.

I think you are right on this one. We need
water to make it, but we can do without el-
ectricity. We need water to cook, bath, and
wash clothes. Water would be more important
to have. You can use lamps with oil for light.
It might be hard if you are hooked on TV and
the internet. Unless you can afford the batte-
ries.

This is rather a tough question for me to answer. I would definitely choose water anytime but you know my job requires electricity and internet. How can I possibly earn without electricity? Ohh we are also suffering the same here in Iloilo and it is getting into my nerves too. The water is being scheduled grrr and from time to time there is a blackout. Countries in Europe don't experience these stuff you know and my students are even asking me what is your government doing about it? Our government???? Duh nothing!

It's funny when you think of the modern conveniences...I would be able to go without electricity...but water-NO way! I've gotta have my shower. I could live without my favorite tv shows-I'd just read books by candlelight.
My mother is a teacher and there is a family right now that had their electricity shut off 4 months ago-they've been going all this time like that. She couldn't imagine it-but it's out there. Many people are struggling to pay both bills. The only thing that would be bad is if they lived in a cold place and needed the heat. We are in FL where it's pretty warm all year round thankfully.

Well friend,
It's definitely water, no doubt. Because you can live without electricity, but not water. Water is your life.
Have a nice day.

without any thinking, i'll choose water.
now, i even cant live if no water for one single day. the feeling of thirsty is very bad, i think.
but the exectricity is only take us convenience, not like water, without water, we cant live.

well, since without water we can live,i also choose water over electricity! In history, when people hadn't discoveried electricity yet, people are still alive!
but when people get lost in a desert and can't find water, they die!so it prove the different between the importance of water and electricity in our life!people always choose their life over anything, right?:D
