Yes, I actually do like my name. Even as a kid, I don't think that I ever had a problem with my name. At least, not my first name. I think the one I didn't really like as a kid was my middle name. I'm not really sure, but I wasn't fond of it. But now, it's different, as I do kind of like it now. So, overall, yes I do like my name.

Yeah absolutely. I love my name. It's short, easy to remember and I feel great when people repeat it several times. My parents choose it too. They got it from a famous local singer in my native land. By the way my name is "LEA". What about you? Would you mind sharing it so we would know how bad is it? hehehehe Thanks! Happy everyday!

Many peoples don't like their name the way you feel that. That is correct. Most of the Parents kept children name according to their religion. So that would be old one to this new generation.
Due to this Generation gap it happens so. I think he/she would must change their name in school levels. They can keep any name they like . That would be good for them.
If we did't change name from school life then then it will be trouble in future. Because we can't change it letter. Because name is written in many things just like certificate, citizenship, license etc.
I've changed my line when i was in school. My name is just like a girls name before. Share.

I didn't like my name growing up for some reason. I really liked my middle name more because it was different. Now at 53 years of age I do like my name. My first name was given to me by my Dad and the person who introduced my parents to each other 55 years ago they gave me her name for my middle name. When I named my two daughters I try to give them names that were different and I succeeded with my oldest daughter. Her name no one else has and no one will have it unless they name their child after my daughter.

My name was chosen by my dad too. I don't really like my name because its too common, the older type and short though there's a huge meaning to it. My other younger siblings have a lengthy and chic name. Hah. Nowadays parents give nice names. I myself would like to name my future kids a unique but meaningful name =)

I have always liked my name. When I was in Jr. High and High School my teachers used to start singing every time they took role-call. Why? Because my name is Rio and I was names after a Durran Durran song from the 80's. I love having a unique name.. unique because I am from CA, USA. But now that I have moved to the East my name is very common, only it's a man's name. But I'm currently 7.5 months pregnant with my first son and am struggling to find a name that I'm sure he'll like. Hmmm.

Hi, my name was chosen by my mom and dad. I love it because it's unique like I share my name with very few people. In my case, it's an advantage because people can easily remember me because of my unique name.
Lenghty name? I think it would be better to make a cool nickname out of it and just write your full name for legal purposes. ^_^
