people always blame god once they failed with their life and if they have big problem. as if it was god who made it for them. god give us mind to think and heart to feel so i guess we are the one who control our life, whatever happened to us is actually our fault as sometimes we dont use our mind. like me, i blame god why he let me get pregnant without a husband or a bf with me. and so maybe god will answer that hey its your heart and mind and not mine. its because you only listen to your lust and heart

you can not blame your god for something you willed to happen to you, homeshoppers. that's simply running away from responsibility. unless you allowed yourself to enjoy that one fleeting moment of joy with your boyfriend, this thing won't happen to you. there are things that happen to us which we are solely responsible. you can't blame your god because you went to bed with your boyfriend. that's bad, blaming somebody else for the things we do is really bad and it only compounds our situation.

im not actually blaming god for being pregnant as i also want to be pregnant since im not getting any younger, if i question him or blame him is that because he allowed my boyfriend to go knowing i am pregnant. or he allowed me to get pregnant without a husband or boyfriend as he knows i wanted to have a complete family of my own.

I think that it's definately not God who brings our problems upon us. It is our own fault. God created us as an image of himself but with free will, therefore we can make our own decisions..even though he know what the outcome will be. God doesn't always answer our prayer for what we want and he doesn't always do it in the time we hope for. That is why they say patience is a virtue. Hope this will help.

I think its both that control our lives, (god helps those who helps themselves) I dont think or believe that god controls our entire lives without some help from us, god guides us through and helps us, but we also have to help ourselves too. For example if we sit in our homes all day and do nothing, nothing will happen or change for us by divine intervention alone. but if we are motivate and keep god in our hearts and souls while moving toward our goals then god will help and we will achive our goals, so I think its both. some believe that with prayer alone everything will happen like magic even if they do nothing but I dont believe that, dont get me wrong I believe that prayer helps us connect with our creator but if were lazy and do nothing, then things wont happen I think god appreciates people who are motivated and work hard or participate in things that will help there lives not those who look for magic fixes and do nothing or look for the easy way to get ahead. I respect everyone's point of view this post is simply my opinion and person view points thanks.

To be honest I believe it might be 75/25. I believe God as 75 percent of control and we have the 25 percent control. I believe our lives are planned ahead of time to a point. I believe God has his own plan for us and sometimes we go against his wishes and then things happen that are not necessarily good for us. Then we have to pick ourselves up again to get back on track to where God wants us in our lives.

Everything here in this world that is happening or had happened is all done by us, no other forces had the power to interference. Every choice has its consequence, and we are the ones making those choices, therefore we should face the consequences without pushing the blame to someone else. We are thinking human beings, not machines that runs on programs. we are still overselves whether we were created or evolved, no one can force their way onto us. The fate of ourselves and fate fo the world rest solely in our hands, we should take the responsibility for our own choices.

yes thats right, though they said that it was god who created our destiny or what we called the finish line. but then we are still the one who created the pattern of which way we choose to go. some of us choose the easy way, some choose the hard way, some choose the shortcut, it really depends to us but what matter is we reach the finish line and thats what god plan for us, to be happy and successful person without family of our own or whatever finish line it is.

Even before we were born, God has already planned the events in our lives, but He also gave us the free will to decide which path to take. So, whether or not we succeed in life, it's not all God's doing.

hello homeshoppers, We are the architect of our own lives. God only direct and guide us...but at the end,it is our will that prevails. We had our freewill...if not, then, why does God give us mind to think and weigh things before we decide? Why blame God when we lost our business?...it's not God running it,it's us. Why blame God when something bad happen to us?...Why not think why bad things happened in us? Maybe God want's to send us some message for every bad things that comes our way. People keep blaming God when they were in trouble and miseries...but, people never blame or asked God why they become rich and why they become famous. People keep blaming God for bad things...and thanks for good things only. If we accept good things from God,we must learn to accept trials and failures too.

I believe that god control our life, and we are just obeying the flow that he wants us to do. Whatever happening in our life, it is god's will and he had a reason why he is doing this to us. I almost gave up for many problems that I had encountered, but at the end I realized that god gave me such because he wants me to be strong.

I'm not sure really because I don't blame God if something bad happens but at the same time I think at least part of our life has already been mapped out for us.

life is in your hand... you arrange your own life. But, you may not be able to change things in near future, but if you start from now on, you can change the long future. What you experience now is due to your past doings, and your future depends on your current doing. There is before life, current life and next life, so please don't take life as a small episode, it is never ending :)

Consequences bad always triggers the consciousness of the cause and effect of a negative event. An in depth thinking will yield that the results of an event is based on the decisions made and the maturity to handle a situation. The only thing matters is having the foresight of the probable outcome of a decision, which with experience grows stronger like intelligence matures with age. There are some decisions that can't be restrained from being taken due to some external factors, like parents poses a roadblock in inter-cast marriage. There is nothing to blame anybody called God.There is always a reason behind each unsuccessful event. Some reasons can be controlled and thereby avoided, some can't.But after all, yes,we find peace in settlement and a stable condition of mind, and therefore, say,we reached Godliness.Whatever it may be,mental peace is the most important thing that we look for rather than who is controlling us.

I look at it this way. God is like a beacon...a light at the end of the tunnel. We can choose to go straight toward the light, or bang ourselves against one wall and the other and the other toward the light, or stop on the tracks, or go in reverse. But the light is still at the end of the tunnel, and I choose to go that direction, hitting as few walls as possible.

i think god is controlled our life because people can't predict what happen in the future maybe we can controlled our life in specific situation but we can't determine what happen in the future except we work hard

I dont believe in God but even back in the day when I did I knew that I was in control of my life..I thnk that the ppl who blame some "higher power" for their failures or whatever are foolish for not owning up to their actions or choices etc.....WE DECIDE what direction our lives take...nobody else, no god or higher power..ONLY US..

I have pondered over this question so much from the past couple of days. I have thought a lot, at some days we feel like we are in control of our life but then at somedays we feel we are the puppets of destiny. I think one should put it in a proper perspective so that not to get confused. Otherwise at every setback we will lose our sheen to combat the hurdles.

I believe that god has a big role in controlling our lives and many times I felt his big support. He helped me out of many problems, which I was really worried about. At the same time, I also feel that half of the things depend on us. We should be carefuel about taking decisions in our life and these decisions decide the future of ourl ife. God has the part in helping or guiding us to take the right decision.
