how to insist on a long time thing ........

now i need to do a thing that perhaps it'll take about my two years for it,i really want to realise it after two years,but,i dont know whether i can insist on it for a long time,may be influenced by various factors or other,meanwhile,i must work while study,as for you,what would you do?i would like to hear your comments and suggestions?

In the case of me,I'll make an agenda or write a specific plan on the paper to urge me continue the determination.Also,you can tell the plan to your friends than they'll supervise you to do that.Besides,you can write diary on your booklet or blog every day to discribe the advance you have made,it will help a lot in my minds.
