I voted for him and I'd re-elect him. Gridlock hampers every presidency but certainly can't be put on the president. Everytime I say that on here somebody jumps in and yelps about how they (Meaning Dems, I suppose) blamed Bush. Well, I didn't blame Bush and I'm certainly not blaming Obama.

First time that the guy I voted for actually won. It took us forty years to get to this nightmare I don't expect anyone to fix it in a year. The idea that our government does not work is not a new idea to everyone, some have known it for years.

Jonesy123, did you know that there is nothing Obama has done thus far that was not already in motion in Washington DC? Though I share not some of the ideas of president Barack Obama, I believe the man is simply being used by the government to accomplish what the government planned years ago. If it appears Obama's ideas are being implemented, then it is because such was sought after. That man has not done anything yet that was not either already law or was ongoing before his election!

I've never missed voting in an election since they lowered the voting age making me eligible to vote in 1972 and I never once voted for anyone expecting them to be perfect or to do every single thing they'd "promised" to do or that I thought they should do. If you don't expect miracles I guess you're less likely to be too disappointed, right? Nevertheless, I suppose everyone I've voted for has disappointed me at least a little bit and President Obama is no exception. However, I think the good has far outweighed the bad.
Yes, as matters stand now, I would reelect him. Now, I've got to cover for head in preparation for the attacks I'm going to get...lol!
