I want to start a blog and make money from it but I don't know where to begin

I lost some hours at my job because I'm starting college and have been looking for about a week for some work @ home gigs to supplement the hours I'm missing from my job. Currently I'm doing amazon mechanical turk, click sense,pinecone research and this. I then realized that I could start a blog and make money from it, just not sure where to start, and what to write. I know that you can use google adsense to make some money. Where do I start to become part of the "blogging world"? If any of you bloggers out there could give me some advice on this it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

you need to write about something interesting, something that will bring back the members day after day. you can make it just not sure how far you will. be passinate about something that you want to write about it will bring back the readers.
