How free are we?

how free are we as americans? some people would say that if your not happy here then just leave. Why be happy with slack on the leash if i can strive to be completly free.

I've lived here all of my life and I feel completely free. I am able to practice any religion that I want to or not religion at all, unlike many other places. I'm able to come and go as I please, unlike many other places. I'm able to stand up in public and say anything that I want to say about anyone that I want to say it about, try that one in China. I'm not certain why you don't feel free here.
