Haven't you think of what will happen this upcoming election if this brownouts would still continue? Would that be a ground for a declaration of "FAILURE OF ELECTION"? Think about it fellow filipinos. Is this a political hidden strategy to have this automated election in the Philippines plus the continuing problem of power interruptions? Hmmm....

I don't really think this is a part of strategy for the upcoming election. If you have been reading newspapers and news update in the internet..There were shortage in our power plant that produces electricity. For example, some of our hydro electric are not producing as much electricity as before because of the El Nino Season..Our other plants cannot produce much electricity because of the continuing increase of oil in the market.. Its much better for us not think too much negative on the upcoming election..when must set our mind as proactive...thanks

Thanks... i really hope this coming election we will all be united for our country's progress.. Being proactive means taking conscious control over your life, setting goals and working to achieve them. Instead of reacting to events and waiting for opportunities, you go out and create your own events and opportunities.

With Gloria around? i think there'a a big possibility. We normally encounter brown outs during elections so this is nothing new.

But this time is quite different. Brownout for this upcoming election should not happen so that it will not jeopardize or defeat the purpose of having an automated election.

Yeah that rumors have been going around for sometime already and I think that it is really alarming scenario when that happens. I hope they would not do that to derail election and extend their stay in power. I think we have to be vigilant as well so that these won't happen at all.

I hope it's not, God forbids! Brownout incidents during election are quite common but none in the past ever declared for failure of election, I am confident the upcoming election will run smoothly despite of the impeding brownout fears. The only thing that bothered me now is the possible disaster of fraud and deception. Hope this automated election won't be used as another ground of massive election hoax. hehe..ok ba ran?LOL!

haha yeah, but if ever that happens, Comelec has to count the ballots manually. The only risk is people might steal ballots and replace them with ballots in favor of another politician.

Hoping that won't happen. What will just happen to our country if we are lead again by another corrupt officials.

Yes...They want to hear the reactions from many of us and to provide reasons which makes us to believe with them.

maybe that is a fact that is proven time and time again. This issue regarding brownouts in the philippines are very much common to to the election era in the country. let us just hope that it is a race against time that they finish the count of ballots before the brownout occur........
