The need to have something good on the tv, whilst you are eating?

Is it just me or when you are having a meal do you have the urge to first find something good on the tv before you tuck into your meal? I find this urge to be most strong when I get a takeaway and when I am eating alone.

yes me too since im just alone, coz if im just going to concentrate with my food while alone im sure i will only lost my appetite, thats why i rather want to be busy watching while eating so i cant think of any as my mind is preoccupied with food and the show i am watching. but if im outside, its alright since theres also a lot of people eating alone on their table.

Hi, for me, it's not a must to have something good BUT it would be better if there is something for me to watch. For me, it would be better because I can concentrate on eating and watching only as my parents like to chat a lot among themselves and usually the topic is something that I don't know. Thus, having something to watch would be good and even better to have something good to watch.

Yes, I feel the same way too but I don't watch tv.
I watch drama or movies from my computer.
Somehow I feel that my time is more utilized when multi tasking.

I love to see whats on the television and I love to eat. Doing both is even better. Especially if it is a sports game like basketball playoffs, The Superbowl, and few others. One of my favorite foods to eat while I am watching the tube would be pizza. I'll even go through a whole medium pizza in that one night.
