there are aloe vera plants in my garden. there are many variety of aloes. some it seems are edible. this is what my market lady told me. the edible ones are sliced open and the skin removed. cut into cubes and make soup. you can boiled with chicken cubes or pork ribs. its refreshing. there are processed into aloe vera drinks which are cooling and it is packed with antioxidents. now, we have aloe vera soaps and a range of aloe vera cosmetics including bath gel, shampoo and moisturisers. i bought an aloe vera lipstick some time ago. it changes colour on my lips due to body warmth. how about trying one.

Don't get rid of them! Aloe is not only great for skin and hair but it is a powerful antioxidant. It has tons of benefits, it prevents cancer, inflammation, diabetes, cholesterol and more. It is also great to relieve muscular tension and cramps. It is a natural medicine. The way I use aloe is to scrape it into a glass, the gel trickles down and drink it with milk to alleviate the bitterness. Works like magic!
