When I come think about it, everything seems to have an ending. People are already saying that one day or another the earth is going to come to an end and people will die. When a person dies, his body is buried into the ground, six feet under but what happens to the spirit, is it going to die to? What will happen to it?

Really? But I dont think so. All living organisms have souls or spirits and all of us die or creatures die but the souls of others creatures are not the same as ours. They are gonna die and that's the end of their lives but as for humans we have something more than the lower forms creatures have. I dont believe I dont have a soul.

According to the bible we will either go to Heaven
or hell. The people who have accepted Jesus Christ
as their Savior and have lived a Christian life
will go to Heaven. It teaches you must be saved to
have eternal life and go to Heaven. You ask Jesus
to saved you and come into your life and you will
be saved.
Then you have the people who do not do this. Acord-
ing to the bible they will go to hell, because they
did not accept Jesus as their Savior. When you die
according to the Bible you either go to Heaven are
Hell, It is what ever you Chose to do.

If you are a real Christian, you will want to
live life as you should. The word Christain
means to be Christ Like, If you have accepted
Jesus as your true Savior, there will be no
desire to live a bad life. You become a new
person, That is how you truly know you are
saved. Your right about it not being fair,
but if there is not a true change in your
life, there will be no true salvation you
are fooling your self.

What if I am a Christian but I didnt live the way a Christian should, let's say I am not 100% good, I do bad things like not following what God teaches and all sorts of bad things and still believe that I am a Christian. Does that mean that I can still go to heaven? Wouldnt that be unfair for those who are really 100% percent good?

The bible says, "It is appointed to man once to die, and after that the judgment."
Your spirit returns to the one who gave it - God.

No, there is not a place for anyone who is half good and half bad. However, there is a place for Christians who have had all their sins washed away.

According to the Holy Scriptures, our spirit will never die. Our spirit will either go to heaven or hell. To be sure you are going to heaven accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because He did die for you. Your good works won't save you it is by the grace of God that we are going to be saved.

hi p3ks626, in the book of Ephesians 2:8-10 states that, "For by grace you are saved through faith and that not for yourselves (good works), lest any man should boast. For we are the workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them." In John 1:12, "But as many as received HIM, to them gave he the power to become the sons of GOD."
Our good works will be the basis of GOD in giving HIS rewards to us if we accepted JESUS as our Lord and Savior, repented from our sins and live a holy life because God is holy. Religions taught of good works so we can be saved but the Holy Scriptures teach us a personal relationship with God by faith, by reading the Holy Bible daily and by prayers.

If my good works wont save me than that contradicts to the teachings that we have in the bible by living righteously. God gave us commandments and they are suppose to be followed because God gave them for us to follow it. If you are following it then we are doing good works. And good works are big factors for us to be saved. That is what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about, we believe in His name, repent of our since, be baptized in His name with the proper authority, keep His commandments and endure to the end in keeping His commandments. Good works is a part of the gospel of Christ.

Simply I don't know :). Some people say it will going to heaven, some say it will going too hell. But have you feel some "Out Body Experiences" in your life. Well maybe I'm crazy to say this but yes I got some exp. with OBE in the past time. In my country there even some people who teach anybody to learn this skill with fee of course.
What I believed right now, we are just a soul inside our body. But our body it's important so we can interact too other. Myself will running as fast as I can if I hear a voice but without body that I could see :D.

You hear a clearly voice talking to you at least trying talking to you, but you're sure there nobody else around you especially at the middle of the night and you're alone on your bedroom, hey I don't want to scare you, the voice usually I hear is the kind voice, and it's always give a good advice about what I'm doing in my life. I got this exp. when I'm around 16~27, I like sport at that time, like yoga and meditation, sometime I feel still wake up when my body allready sleep after working and get tired after exercise. The feeling is blur because I can't see clearly with my eyes, but my ears become more active than usual. I got an accident at 18 using my motorcycle, some say i'm dying or something. But I can remember clearly what happen before, when and after the accident. I can't move my body but I can see everybody, hear what they talking see what they're doing. But still inside my body. weird huh.... :) I still can't understand until now. But after 30 it's slowly gone, I don't want to think to much about this it just too strange :D

In a lot of religions you are believed to go to a "heaven" or some kind of state of nirvana. I believe that you go to either the astral plane which is the next level of consciousness after the material plane which we are currently on. I've read that if you don't move on to the next spiritual realm that you reside in a purgatory for a little while before you are reincarnated back on to earth to learn what is necessary for you to gain access to the astral realm.
Those are just my beliefs and those come from Hinduistic and Eckancar beliefs. I've read a lot about different religions and most religions have some pretty similar views just in different languages. Of course my thoughts could be completely wrong but I guess we'll find out once we die.

I believe that our creator will grant a great afterlife to anyone who is a genuine person that doesn't only try benefiting themselves. If you are a pure person with a good heart and a good soul then I believe that you will go where ever you want to go when you die. There's a lot of interesting beliefs out there and it will be pretty interesting making the transition.

I too am very intrigued to know. When it comes to religious beliefs, I have always been a person who has "sat on the fence" and hasn't swayed to either side. I hope there is a heaven, an existence of some eternal paradise for all of our souls
It would suck to end up nothing more than worm food

I dont wanna end up just like that either. The body will decay and go to the worms but the spirit will continue to live. Its a good thing to know about that actually. I know there is heaven but its not going to be easy to be there so we have to work for it while in this life and live righteously.

I also must believe that there is someplace where the spirit goes after we die. Life in itself is hard, and I believe that the reward for your hardship is great place for your spirit. This maybe what they call as heaven.
Whatever it is called, I'd like to think of it as something to look forward to. Otherwise, it'll be just so gloomy knowing your spirit will also die, if you die.

I think we have the same idea here. I think that after we die, the spirit will go to a place where all the spirits are and there they will wait for the judgment day. I believe that our bodies will be reunited to our souls and that is called resurrection. It will happen to all of us because Jesus was resurrected and so we will be whether we are male or female, young or old, bad or good. After that then we will judged and that's the time we will know whether we are going to have an immortal life or an eternal life.

We are born in this world by our biological parents through God and by the Holy Spirit. And everybody will come back to God and Holy Spirit who give us life.Ourselves compose of being a body, soul, and spirit are living in this world in such a period of time that nobody knows our end of time ,Only God knows.Even our Lord Jesus Christ was guided by the Holy Spirit during his baptism in the form of dove and even during his praying time in the mountain. I believe since we are being born by the spirit It will go back to the Spirit world where our Almighty God and son Jesus Christ belong.Lead our good life to be happy in our Father in Heaven.

What do you mean when you said we are being born "by" the spirit? Isnt it one of the plans of God to put us here on earth so we can have a physical body? I believe that when Christ was resurrected he was resurrected with a body of flesh and bones and isnt it going to happen to us too?

hy p3ks626.. i hope you would not mind if i tell you about wjat will happen to our spirit after we die in Islam view.
so in my my religion view ( islam), when someone die, their spirit wll wait for the judgment day (the day when our good and bad thing will be weight). this world called Barzah World. and then when judgment day comes, our spirit will be lead to the place where our behaviour (merit and sin) will be weight. and from that day our spirit will be decided going to hell or heaven.. and of course someone who has many sin will face terrible thing

Actually, I came up with this discussion because I think it is helpful for us to share what we believe in. It doesnt matter if you are a Christian or not, if we know something then that means we can share them. I think we are all here to share our point of view and learn from it.
I think it make sense too that we have to wait for the judgment day then we will be able to know where we will go after that. I think it will be unfair to go directly to heaven or hell after we die.

I guess it all depends on what one believes spiritually or religiously ya know...for me, I believe in reincarnation and then reconnection after all our lives are through....A Christian would believe in the whole heaven/hell concept and so on..

According to the bible the spirit is still here on us on Earth, but their life is different from us. I don’t know what will happen to my spirits too when I die. I sometimes think about it and I get lonely. I don’t want to end my life but there are times I want to kill myself. I really don’t know what will happen to us, sometimes I think when we die our spirits don’t know our past life. When we got there we are just a new person.

I was raised in a Christian household and I hold faith in the fact that after I die my spirit will go to heaven where it will be reunited with those loved ones that have left before me. It is because of this belief that I am actually not really scared of dying. I know that it is going to happen to each and every one of us eventually, but I know that those that I've loved will be there waiting for me. It is one of the best things about being a devout Christian.

When we die, I just know that its not the end of our life but only the beginning. Our life on earth has a purpose and God wants us to be happy. He wants our happiness to stay for a long time and to be able to do that, we need to live a righteous life here on earth.

I d'ont really know what to say but there are so many miracles in the world that i can't just think that therr's nothing after we die. I saw some clips with souls rising up(or at least it seemed to) and i even had a friend that went wis his girlfriend to a church, in the mountains. It was night and they made a picture with the two of them(with a digital camera) and when we both saw the picture on the screen we couldn't believe that a silluette was standing near him. We were shocked.

I believe that every thing will really end and I'm just glad that our spirits wont have to die. I think God really loves all of us and that He wants us to return to His presence but to be able to do that our life here on earth is great factor. We need to live righteously and be worthy of all the things that God wants to give us. God wants to give us every thing we want and need and all we have to do is obey Him.
