Spending time with GOD

Our life seems busier then ever. work, school, children and countless other obligations take up a lot of precious time. Probably this is the reason social sites are mushrooming, to keep in touch with our friends and relatves, virtually. However one relationship that can suffer a lot from this busy schedule is relationship with GOD.
To seek GOD and to strengthen our relationship with God some few easy things can be done.
1. Praying continuously
2. Doing a daily devotional &
3. Sing Praise song of GOD during anytime of the day.
Do u agree? would you suggest any other way to strengthen our relationship with GOd, to spend more time with GOD?

I strongly agree with you in seeking God and strengthen our relationship with him..
I have another thing here which i usually do to seek God, you named 3 of the most important things how to seek his precious name.Reading his word regularly can strengthen my faith and make my relationship unshaken since i can just stand on his promises so whatever trails and problem along my way i can stand firmly because of his promises i believe he will never leave me nor forsake me..

friend u r right. Taking God's name continuously / on regular basis increases our faith in him and we always find him with us. This helps us in handling difficult time of our life.

What you say is right. Our relationship with God tend to suffer due to our preoccupation with other things. The three points you have mentioned are important indeed. Since you asked, Is there any other way to strengthen our relationship with God; I would like to suggest that speaking with like minded people, at least once in a day, also would help in strengthening this relationship. I spend some time answering questions related to God, and it has been helping me in strengthening my relationship with Him.

Yes, it is said there is god in everyone of us. So talking from bottom of heart with like minded people will make us feel connected to God.

Well, i may be different to this discussion. I am not an atheist and i believe in god. Well just praying god and spending time with him is not only way to do so. He doesnot expect only this. Helping someone, you are close to god. Speaking nice and hurting no one, you can feel the god in us, loving everyone, you can feel the god loves you! So i dont say yours is wrong, i believe god is present in us in all our good things, so we can feel his presence and spending time with him when we does in our actions! Hope you agree this too friend..thanks for this topic!
